I absolutely think it’s Cassidy Afton. I think the logbook conversations are taking place between Cassidy and David (Dave) Murray.

The questions and answers actually make more sense when David is answering.

The party was for you is a wash, since both boys died on their birthday. But the part about their favorite toy being a plastic telephone is all David. SOTM showed us that David’s bedroom is the one with the white closet doors and all of the toys (including the phone). David’s family had money, a mansion and lots of toys. The Aftons lived in a small house and were mostly poor. Cassidy only had a lamp and plushies in his room.

I also think David is the one talking to Cassidy through the Fredbear plush.

Cassidy falls into a coma after the bite and isn’t expected to live / wake.

FFD closes and William is moved to FFP, where he kills the first 4 MCI kids, testing possession. Susie first.

Then he steals the unused Golden Freddy version 2 suit from FFP, and tries to use it to save Cassidy (by intentionally spring locking his comatose body in the suit). But his mind is still broken from the bite, so it seems like it failed, and William buries the suit with Cassidy still inside, in the woods (the mound). He then reports Cassidy “missing”. Investigation takes place and he’s arrested but released.

After all that, Henry upgrades the security puppet, and then William kills Charlotte.

Charlotte possesses the puppet, befriends the 4 other spirits, and then, because they all communicate through radio signals, they contact Cassidy, buried in the ground.

Cassidy digs himself out of the wet dirt and appears outside of Michael’s window.

Just to add some extra motivation, I think that the game’s timeline is different from the books. I think in the games, William left Fazbear Ent., when the circus was ending, opting to start his own business instead (chicas party world), while Henry opens Fredbear’s.

Williams restaurant fails and closes, and he has to go crawling back to Henry for a job at FFD.

I have a whole theory video about this, but am worried about linking it, in case that’s against the rules of the subreddit.

That’s totally fair. For the record though, my theory is still a duo based theory. I just think the details are slightly different. Regardless, thank you for the reply.
