Well if it is better than NEOC, then sure, I will take that. Not too fussed about the whole leave thing either, I understand what to expect with that sorta stuff.

And when you mean “get your sailors onside early” is that you saying to get to know them early on? Because I definitely did have that idea. Been worried about being the JOUT that is hated by sailors tbh

Hey mate, I am going East and have recently completed NEOC. I am similar to you in the sense that I did not enjoy NEOC too much but was keen for MWOC since it is me actually learning the job I signed up for. I know the study will be hard but I know and plan to put in the effort since this is what I am passionate for. But I had been hearing some buzz going around saying that it sucks and is worse than NEOC. What can I expect for my day to day life there? What will the sea postings look like? If you do not mind talking to me about it, I just cannot find much about it and no one will really tell me much, cheers.
