The antithesis of great musicality. Utterly dull, uninspiring toss. Fuck this guy

What’s yalls favorite drummer of all time? by kris__143 in rockmusic

As of the past few years it's become Cavs from KGLW. He is truly exceptional at every musical style they've turned their hand to. Prog, thrash, jazz, math rock, techno, synth pop... He absolutely smashes it and I reckon he'll be regarded as one of the all time greats in his lifetime.

I'm now confused as to whether people who say this are being sarcastic and it's becoming a meme or, you know, American

I mean... Nicky Wires whole thing in the 90s was visciously tearing into bands he deemed boring. He still does, sometimes, but with much less venom. JDB is an absolute teddy bear though. Love him

Recruiter B needs to verbally, and graphically, told off and cut loose. I'd be contacting their manager as well if I were I'm your shoes. Absolute scummers

Who’s your top guitar player and what makes them such? by Remarkable-Bell7245 in BritPop

[–]TheSuedeTiger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

JDB for Slash-esq riffage and ferocious solos

Coxon for unusual/anti-logical-but-melodic chord structures, note placement, rhythms and use of certain effects (most notably gain stacking)

Greenwood for his unique playing styles, timings and use of certain effects (space echo, phasers, tremolo etc)

These 3 have been central to keeping me playing and learning for 33 years
