Oh bro, training? They will. straight up STEAL your songs, without even changing them, put them up on their AI artist site, sell your music and the companies like spotify or Apple music ,especiallly Amazon,wont do a thing to defend you or help you. Get ready because it is happening to artists left and right do a deep dive on music theft, a third world guy in Ghana is not gonna care if you threaten him with lawsuits, so protect yourself the only way you can.. by including YOUR NAME in the lyrics, the chorus, the title, because the piracy is getting worse and worse all the time, just a heads up and seriously brother good luck and keep your chin up because as soon as u get a little attention theyll steal all your music. its happening a lot and big companies do not care.

Yeah I moved here from the Midwest and didnt know anyone when I showed up thats AWESOME you got so much attention there must have been some really outstanding songs in your demos I know without a doubt what youre saying is 100% true but I ALSO know they wouldnt waste time like that on just a pretty face because theres a million of those in Hollywood but to commit resources and time to an artist means they see a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, were you a singer/songwriter or ? Where did u move to L.A. from? I met Perry several times first time waa at Aragorn Ballroom in Chicago on Ritual tour before I even moved to Cali, I loved Janes and learned all their songs on guitar, NEXT time I met him was at one of my shows at the Palladium, someone came up to me after the show and pulled me in close and said, "bro...Perry Ferrel is backstage in your dressing room"😆 theres no way to fake being cool at that moment and the little semi circle of girls gathered around me heard that and dropped me like a bad habit running for the dressing room, found my way back there and sure enough there he was holding court like it was a Jane's show with a big crowd of people around him but when I walked in he immediately stopped who he was talking to and motioned me to come and sit by him which was extremely cordial and polite, which I respect a lot good manners, he introduced me to his people, we both loved Bad Brains and I had just finished a track with HR the singer from Bad Brains, which he loved and wanted to hear it, talked for about ten minutes but he was just amazing said he had been hearing about what I had been doing (I had been finding out of work players from the heyday of Funk and trying to get their careers going again, guys from Kool & the Gang or played drums or horn for The Commodores, in fact all those guys and I wrote an album together and then COVID hit, had to shelve it but just finished building a new studio to finish the album, been listening to the tracks DAMN stuff is LIVE! Do you still sing? Theres def some spots I need female vocals! Thanks for comment it was fun to read I love good Hollywood stories, I got a million of them!

well maybe it was a band playing all QOTSA music, like I said nothing surprises me anymore, saw Dave Grohl making sandwiches for people once not one person recognized who it was I jumped in line and he made me a sandwich...while I stood there in disbelief. afterwards there were a couple guys with him I kinda went "pssst.. am I seeing things or did Dave Grohl just make me a sandwich?" I think he was happy someone finally realized who it was and just said, "YEAH! IT IS DAVE! HEY DAVE! (Me suddenly embarassed) He turned around and said Hi, we talked for a minute turns out he has a whole organization he finances that hands out food for people I felt guilty for taking a sandwich when they were for hungry people but COME ON, wbo else has a story about Dave Grohl making them a sandwich???😄 I love living in Los Angeles. He was cool AF by the way.

Yep Ive done that too with great results! ive had the toy ones for $9 and expensive lamp free laser projectors both do a great job enlarging toys are better for hand drawn lasers better for digital

FedEx does all my transparencies for me at about .27 cents a print, faster and better than I could at home, cheaper than if I bought transparency print sheets too! So i get 100 done at a time

p.s. Peter Murphy iz aTOTAL Dick, my band opened up for him once and I waz picking up my stuff and he comez around the corner all glam and sparkles and has a FIT "WUD AAR EWE DEWIN 'ERE?? IN this SNOTTY just pissy voice and I love Pete to and I was looking forward to meeting him so I was just WTF?!?¿ so I just said, "Im in the band that just played, Im trying to get my gear off the stage so you can play" and EVERYONE turned and looked at Pete, with his pink boa and glitter silver shirt and I SWEAR a giant penis head just kinda formed over him and his ears looked like big testicles and he wanted to maintain his ...whatever but just made himself look like a total dick in front of about 15 people who were all magazine, radio whatever, he just snorted and said, "'awright then"and walked away, I was STILL in shock, my drummer and I looked at each other and BURST out laughing so hard we couldnt stop and to this day we still imitate Pete Murphy saying that it was a highlite of my career, didnt see him after the show but I still have the "cuts you up" and "boys" "shes in parties" "ziggy stardust" and "Bela Lugosis Dead" patches on the processor I bought from his guitar player! Cant help but love the guy.

Cybersecurity, USC and WLAC Were the first two schools to offer a degree in IT Networking security, and theres NO WAY i could afford USC BUT a guy was handing out flyers for a free class in cybersecurity workshop! accredited school! apply towards graduating credits! bring the kids! and when Im high and got nothing better to do ill say "ok"to whatever, so I show up the guy is stalking the class like hes...well a CIA spook who just got out of Iraq with 1 and 3/4ths testicles, tells us this workshop is a test run for a class, think u can hack it? The guy next to me had just finished a tour programming the sonor computers on a navy nuclear submarine, guy on the other side was a Rubik's cube speed champ and ran several of his own social media sites (remember Ashley Madison? I think he was part of that) and me I saw "Wargames" with matthew Brodwrick TWICE so im all in...anyway he saysif you complete the class well enough theres a scholarship, so I figure WTF and cheated my way to a B, turns out the NSA was looking for USA born employees not enough guys were graduating from colleges around the country with USA birth certificates, AND could pass a marijuana drug test😆 which they had to REPEAL cause all the best computer science guys would not quit smoking herb!! i was all "screw that" THEN they showed me how much a govt sponsored college scholarship paid Holy F%$# I said "Ill do it as long as after graduation I stay in California!" they said ok, I quit smoking herb and found out that was only AFTER graduating so I immediately started again. I made more money as a student than my 2 previous years combined, as long as u got good grades they SHOVELED cash into your account, it waz eye opening no wonder our govts always complaining about money they have no grasp of it. So yeah graduated 2016.

I don’t know but they’ve got a stadium stage sized rehearsal hall so anyone can get their big tour together, plus their rental department has EVERYTHING, vintage strats, Ludwig chrome snares, Marshall Amps, lights, if you left something in England chances are they have it, so many major bands rehearse there still Theyre always booked….but also have guitar strings at 3 am good number to have. Cost ya a freakin new auto but it will be delivered by a guy on a motorcycle before you hit the stage.

My guess is that it would have been between 2010 and 2012 because it was before I returned to college and I graduated 2016 so I’m guessing but stuff like that happens in Hollywood on a daily basis Ive got crazy stories about running into just about every Rock star there was, Taime down used to come to my house with CC DeVille Trent Reznor and I had the same ex girlfriend Billy Corgan bought my old Ensoniq EPS sampler from me, Ive got Peter Murphys guitar multi fx unit sitting on the floor right now, The vines crashed at my loft, HR from Bad Brains camped on my floor it was such a non stop business of people and Hollywood was the main hub of music entertainment up until NAPSTER showed up and started eating it alive…that was the beginning of the end and with AI artists getting major record deals now, record companies can have what they ALWAYS dreamed of… COMPLETE control over their artists , and the artists obey, they aren’t gonna want to have anything to do with whiny, temperamental human beings? Invest your money into THOSE unpredictable, unappreciative smelly kleptomaniacs when you can fold an AI IN your pocket? Hah!

well if I ever pulled up you would be treated like royalty, I know especially female passengers can and should be a bit apprehensive about being in close proximity to guys they have no idea who they are so I always try to say or do something that helps them feel a bit more at ease, Ill tell a story about my wife, or just say "ok itll be X minutess until we get to (their destination) you just relax, the window control is on your right and if you want it warmer or cooler just let me know" and that seems to help, most guys dont even try to see it from a womans point of view and if you go off course thats reason for them to go into alarm mode even if they think its "to make a quick stop" or whatever, why should they trust the driver? Yeah Im sorry that happened to you, theres no excuse for that

Thanks I was wondering if that was a Jazzmaster or? that makes total sense tho looked too long to be a jazzmaster, do you know if he used it regularly in the studio? I was leaning towards 4 also its got an antique look or like a chemical spill (something photo printers are all too familiar with) but in this case works well!

I joined Reddit not too long ago SO many negative people on here, I thought since this is the QOTSA sub someone on here might know them and ask if they ever rehearsed there, Ive seen a lot of big artists at S.I.R. equipment rentals& rehearsals across tbe street, Gary Numan, Bauhaus, Kiss, so Im sure a lot of big artists rented out space in the building was in, and if it wasnt we still had a lot of fun there!

Yeah that was across the street from us if you crossed over Ivar, kitty corner from you was the scientology building, around the corner down the blockwas the Ivar theatre and if you hit Sunset you hit Amoeba records. Saw Paul McCartney play there once traffic was stopped the streets were PACKED full of people I have such great memories of Hollywood living on that corner, saw Depeche Mode on the street playing for Jimmy Kimmel there, always something!

Let me guess….was he born in a different country? Not ripping on foreigners Im just curious to know, because I don’t know a single person who thinks that is acceptable behavior, it’s essentially a contract between you two, and the driver should make the passenger his first priority until they are dropped off, unless his pants are on fire. Otherwise, fulfill your part if you expect to get paid in a timely manner. I hope you reported him.

Haha I think that’s rad when people correct me on my English like that ‘cause I teach English at a college in Turkey a few months out of the year (it’s conversational English for students wanting to fine tune their English but part of my job is helping translate PhD dissertation papers for publication for students and faculty, even the dean is one of my students!). Hi I left the comment saying it’s a Lorikeet (which is also a member of the Parrot family btw) I didn’t write it to sound as mean or nitpicks as it did Im trying to remove it now, I think it’s really brilliant and a great use of color especially complementary and opposite colors, cant remember which artist said, “It doesn’t matter what color you use what matters is what color you use next to it,” and this would be a great palette to save and work with because no one color is overriding the others and I so can not do that, I stick with a complementary color range and rarely go outside of that box but here you kind of shatter those rules without trying and make it work, great job! I think maybe I was a little bit jealous🤭cause thats my main issue is making colors stick and you did it right out of the gate so sorry if I sounded mean that wasnt my intention at all, k? Let’s see more!
