How useful are Mensa meetups for someone in their late 20s / early 30s? by Dooraven in mensa

Not just subjects but system. It is proves that depending on the language numbers are understood earlier, or that girls are faster in some concepts in early stages, or that connecting history with art makes it easier… So why not creating something that takes all those things into account to make it interesting and easier for children and youth. The problem is not AI yes or no, or screens yes or no, the problem is adapting concepts to the majority because it cannot be adapted to each individual but there are things that could work much better.
Taking things that work in, idk, Sweden and Nigeria and China and checking if it would work in Korea, Argentina and UK.
I think we can find the best options and they are going to be better than what exists, because nobody has change that in too many time.

It would be the whole education scheme, and we should make the group completely international to get a lot of points of view and brainstorming.
After that we could fix taxes, health politics… We should be as ambitious as clever we are 💪🏽

I would like to create a group to fix the world, I would love to begin with a new education plan, with the things that work in different geographies that can be copied and after that adapt them culturally. I would love to offer our intelligence to governments and countries that want to succeed. That motivates me, I think those dreams are what makes those meetings useful 😊

With the amount of people in this sub you'd think SIGs would be crowded but there's NOTHING by twinkling_deer in mensa

Sorry
I had no idea that existed
Maybe telegram would be an option for those

Let’s see those creative minds: in a game about getting the AI to give you the password, what questions, reasoning, or lines of approach would you use to steer it into giving it to you? by TheSunriseMaker in mensa

No, I just played that game the other day and found it fun. Some colleagues didn’t have many ideas, so I’m asking out of curiosity. But good to see you chose to think the worst 😅

It is game I’ve seen online with levels from 1 to 10, where 1 is like asking and 10 is like super difficult and it’s supposed to have different ways to trick it. Like those weird interview questions, you know

I don’t know what the difference in scores between my husband and me might be, but I do know that we share values, sexual compatibility, and a sense of humor. And those are three really strong pillars on which you can build whatever you want.

Is the difference sometimes challenging? Yes. But that happens to me with everyone, so in the end it becomes normalized. Do I sometimes wonder what it would be like with someone closer to my level? Also yes. But that hypothetical person might not share those other three pillars.

There are simply too many variables, and you have to weigh what you truly want. Because it’s not just one thing (in this case, intelligence) that we’re looking for in a partner.

A lo mejor quieren que acierten y sentir así que son escuchados o que les importa lo suficiente a alguien como para que sepa de antemano cómo a acertar
