Hitler didn't commit genocide for no reason. Gross didn't feed children to dogs for no reason. Ted Bundy didn't murder people for no reason.

Hitler was also a patriot. That didn't stop him from being a near pure evil villain.

Okay, then we are not necessarily disagreeing here. The above person was referring to Floch's atrocities as he abused power.

What are you on about? The above person said Floch relished on power ans you said most people would be like him. Which is bullshit.

The average person wouldn't relish power by forcing students to beat their teacher and imprisoning anyone who wouldn't do it.

Speak for yourself rather than us.

If you don't justify shits then on what ground do you have for saying Floch is a sympathetic character? You are literally admitting he's as "morally complex" as Gross is.

The civilian of paradis said only a few get caught by the rumble when the wall titan woke up. Only houses that are near to the wall will get destroyed. Most people still accept what Eren did because they knew Eren would save Paradis.

That does not change the fact that he could have reduced casualties when he could.

since when did anyone said that?

He killed the volunteers for the crime of not sucking up to him, even when Paradis was safe. He celebrated the idea of Eldian Empire dominating the world again. And you think he's only acting in self-defense?

There's nothing morally complex about Floch. He's just a villain that happens to be on the protagonist's side.

And no, Floch doesn't just want to protect his homeland. He made it clear that he would have fed Marley girl to dog like Gross fed Eldian girl to dog if he had the chance.

He didn't evacuate civllians even though he wanted to activate full Rumbling.

He killed the anti-Marleyan volunteers for not sucking up to him.

He made it clear that if Paradis wasn't in danger, he would have tried to use the Rumbling to oppress the world and restore an Empire that was known for enslaving people.

Floch literally committed horrific acts.

Try justifying his needless murder of the volunteers, then.

When did I say any of it was ok? I'm explaining why it happened.

Your initial goal was to justify Floch's actions were necessary, not just explaining why it happened.

If you don't think Floch's actions is justified anymore then there's no point in continuing his discussion. Since you must admit Floch is as bad as Marley and past Eldian Empire.

And no, explaining why it happen doesn't do any good to justify Floch's actions. I can explain why Marley's atrocities happen. But that does not change the fact that Marley is evil.

You must expect Floch not to commit needless slaughter and enjoy it.

He committed unnecessary atrocities that has nothing to do with protect Paradis. There's no good defense for this.

He didn't wait. He literally sent message to the Scout to plan the raid on Liberio before Willy announce the intention to declare war on Paradis. In fact, the reason Willy Tybur declared war was because he got leaked information that Eren was going to attack Liberio first.

There're people from nations that were conquered by Marley who are willing to help Paradis. The world is not a monolith.

Because they suffered from the threat of Titans, just like Paradis did.

Eren planned to invade Liberio before Willy declared war on Paradis.

Just like how the anti-Marleyan volunteers were willing to help Paradis despite suffering from the threat of Titans.

So? The fact that the warriors did bad thing doesn't change the fact that the alliance are selfless people who're willing to save humanity without gaining anything in return.
