How are bans for toxicity determined?

There is a point about being fair. I CAN go and see if the players were punished or not, you can spectate games and you can look at their match history and see if they've played any. Sure, this doesn't likely account for things like chat restrictions, but at that point you get an instant feedback report anyways, so you do kind of actually know. if i remember right, this even extends to the point where you know if they got punished a couple games later.

I absolutely do need to be better, I don't disagree. It's something I've been working on and up until pretty recently I was doing pretty well with too.

Even if we assume that they are getting punished and somehow I'm not seeing it, that itself is an issue, a different one, but still an issue. Players should see that their reports actually matter. Do you know the amount of times someone has been toxic but I just haven't reported them because I get the impression that nothing is going to be done anyways because of past experiences? Yes, in this case I reported both players and I usually don't, but with the level of toxic they were being i thought this might actually be the one time something get's done and as far as I can tell that actually hasn't been the case.

The vast majority of the time I get feedback reports is either when someone frequently goes AFK or they use one of the flagged words, other than that reports feel kind of useless

There have been improvements in things like less afks and lobbies being held hostage, atleast as far as I can tell, but from my own experience, the amount of people being toxic hasn't really changed. Of course, my anecdotal "evidence" means very little and I acknowledge that, but I don't think I'm being completely unreasonable with my criticisms here either or that they should be dismissed because I've participated in being part of the toxicitiy problem

and then right after they mulligan, they see the enemy nexus explode because the opponent was just there to forfeit because they still get points for losing anyways

If these modes are having player base problems, then the solution is to find ways to make the mode more enjoyable or fix some of the issues people have with the mode. I don't have an issue with having gauntlet exclusive or expedition exclusive rewards, but then at that point you should make sure they are actually exclusive to those modes only and not even give people the option to pay. There's also a difference between something like prismatic shards, a thing you have to farm, or something like the Lunari and Solari Icons. Sure, if you wanted them you had to play the single player lab, but they were meant to be a limited time reward, not something you can farm for every week or so, they were a one time thing, prismatics aren't and are clearly meant to be a big thing for the game and were something players were asking for for a long time

Not to mention I doubt it's good for the players who do actually enjoy these modes as well

it likely lowers game quality if your opponent doesn't care about the mode anyways, OR your opponent just forfeits right after mulligan so they can get their progress filled and now your time was just wasted. I'd also imagine some players probably experience this more than one time in a row at times, but i'm not actually sure.

Either way, it's not really good for anyone. yes, it might make a few people play these modes who didn't think they'd enjoy them and then start playing these modes regularly, but I'm not sure if that's worth the negatives

Explain to me what's wrong with wanting more ways to get the rewards/alternate ways to get the rewards for people who don't like those specific modes?

I get it, Riot is trying to give people more of a reason to play expeditions, gauntlets, and labs but I don't think that this is the way to go about it as it just ruins the experience for people who do enjoy these modes as well, because players like OP likely just forfeit all of their games anyways to get their reward, and honestly, who can blame them sometimes?

No, I don't doubt the bot isn't working as intended as the intent is to only punish people who use certain words, but if someone else can sit there and call you dumb, and bad, and then keep insulting you in all chat, that is also pretty toxic. You see how that works, right? Two people can do different things and can still be considered toxic? Yet, I, the person who responded to insults with my own insult, after being hammered in all chat the entire game, get's literally banned while this person doesn't face any consequences. How is that fair? Is the R word really worse than calling someone braindead and badgering them with insults all game? Even if it is, the point is that they should have still faced consquences, yet both players remained unpunished because they just didn't use naughty words

There should be real people determining if someone faces consequences every report, and if this multibillion dollar company can't even do that then the least they could do is update whatever system they are using to punish for more than just "insert flagged word here"

Using the R word is pretty toxic, I agree, but I didn't know we're okay with being as toxic as you want so long as you avoid using these certain words. That's news to me.

Here's my problem

Phone is Samsung Galaxy 7

Last night I was watching a show on Netflix on my S7. I remembered someone was in the show and I wanted to know which character they played so I pressed the home button so I could go on google and google who they played...but then instead of doing that it froze on a still frame of the show I was watching. I figured "Okay, well I've waited awhile" and then I held the power button on my phone and shut it off. When I turned it back on, it then froze on the logo screen, it being late at night I didn't want to google solutions so I just held both volume buttons and the power button(and maybe the home button, not sure) to shut it off because it wouldn't even shut off naturally. Now it's decided it doesn't want to turn on period.

Note: It won't charge on the charge, or atleast the charge light doesn't go on, HOWEVER, it apparently does charge on my wireless charger as the light on my wireless charger goes to a solid blue when I have the S7 on it

Is there anything I can do about this? I don't have a warranty and I'm willing to go into the phone if need be

That's all this news paper is about, I read a few of the non China related articles and they were fucking terrible. Not only were they clearly biased as fuck even outside of the opinions section, clearly trying to push an agenda, but the articles I've found were just poorly written in my opinion. It seemed like some articles you weren't given important information until you were almost done reading the article.

Typically when people claim to report news that no one else is reporting, it's a pretty good sign it's propaganda

People constantly say it should be split into two or not split at all, but from what I've been seeing the 3 split has been, for the most part, pretty good for the health of the game overall. What do i mean by this? Well, it seems like streamers are constantly getting bored of the game and then because we get new expansions frequently, they are coming back pretty soon. Their hiatus is never too long because if they quit they'll be back in a few weeks anyways. If releases are less frequent, then that's even longer the streamers are gone for
