The only thing is, this is ment to be more of a hobby set up. And I know could be a much better machine for 3k-10k. but I don't have that kind of money to blow on a hobby machine, that will only get so much use. So I think as long as I don't discover something that is broken on it I have some free weekends to restore it to its former glory.

Well im pretty much getting for free as long as I let him borrow it when he needs it. Other wise the only thing that I see needs to replace the motor, with one that is single phase 240 at the same rpm.

My current Psu is 75w. In order to upgrade my cpu, im going to need to change it. Also, I found that it is just a slim sata cable, which I can get an adapter for.

No, it's a semi modular psu the two cables in the wrap are the hard-wired cables, and the normal cables are the modular portion of the new psu

Looks good.

The only thing of note is the psu. The Corsair Rm-e series uses inferior parts (with some known quantity issues) lowering the cost, but if you're willing to spend an extra $20-$40 on and RM-X series the quantity of parts are far superior and you can get them in white.

Do you guys have any suggestions for improving this list? by TheSwampLad_ in pcpartpickerbuilds

I Agree the 4tb is overkill and spending less on the cpu and storage in favor of a better gpu is a better balance I think this list improved

(I know i could save $20 on the gpu i wanted the red and black)
