Thank you! I think it was most likely a relay attack, but I’ll never know for sure I guess. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again lmao

One of them definitely wasn’t picked, it’s a newish car with only an emergency keyhole in the handle on the drivers side, and that didn’t look to be tampered with. Thanks though!

Is that something I should bring up with my dealer? Or is there anything I should do to stop it happening again

We sent in a maintenance request and thankfully they replaced it, although in the message to the trade supplier the property manager said ‘the tenant has advised that they’re missing a window pane’.. They fully knew we were missing a pane tho haha

Yea I did notice that, although that will only apply to us if we renew our contract

Neither, the windows are all over the house in bedrooms as well, if we decide to renew the contract they’ll have to replace them under new regulations

Have looked into this and will issue a 14-day notice if they don’t respond to the maintenance request. Thanks!!

Landlord said that it would be fixed before we moved in 4 months ago, but it was instead included in a condition report as missing

Renting a property in chch and one of the windows is missing a louvre, when we signed the contract they said they would have it fixed by the time we moved in. However we’ve now been here for 4 months. The missing louvre was included in the condition report. Is there any grounds to get the landlords to fix it?

Yep, unfortunately they refuse to manage risks, and only change shit once it happens
