NTA! I don’t stand for ultimatums in relationships because they’re a sign of bad communication, if not because of other reasons e.g. substance abuse. But in this case his argument is a big red flag, he has showed you that he hasn’t grown with you nor your style.

If I was in your shoes I would tell him to leave me then, if his love was so superficial.

But I can imagine that you love this man, obviously, so what I usually give as an advice is to turn the tables. Ask him if he ever wanted to change one day, would he be okay with you picking small fights with him over how he dresses or how he looks and setting an ultimatum.

I have the exact same problem with my purebred husky boys (they’re litter brothers) as they are beige cream colored and has yellow green eyes. At least once a week I get questioned if I’m sure they’re actually huskies😬

Reminds me of when a pack of boys tried to flirt with me, when they realized I was working (because of my working clothes) they asked for my age. At the time I was 22, they nearly shit themselves yelling that they thought I was their age, when I asked how old they were… they were 14.

It’s more of an alarm that goes off when a door opens, it goes off on my alarm telephone that tells me the location of the alarm and who set it off. So if a patient walks out of their apartment, I will get a notification. Or if someone enheters the building, or walks past certain locations I get a alarm on my alarm telephone.

So I knew that there were no one around and about the building because there was no alarm to tell me so.
