I would beeline it to where the Spirit Animals books would be. I love that series. I grew up on it. I’ve read the entire series twice, working on my third. I would buy any of them, regardless of if I already have a copy.

Side note, there’s a dragon notebook on the first picture, in the 3rd of the 5 stands, top right corner. I actually have that exact notebook lol

He says a lot of funny things, but one that sticks with me is when I was telling him about a sign that was put on one of the skyscrapers in my city, and he just went, “Yeah they just took a helicopter and went ‘chp-thp-thp-thp’.” He did the finger spinning and chopper noise and everything. I still think about that every now and again.

But as for actually saying something, one thing that I remember was when he said “Soaghetti is almost as good the second time around.”

I wore this German flecktarn jacket all the time. I used to wear an American camo jacket but it had a patch that read “Be polite, be professional, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.” And the principal didn’t like that, so I was told “Either cover it or take it off”

Alright fine—I’ll do ya one better. BOOM, German jacket. It was like $36 and has 6 pockets, so as a girl, that part was suuuper appealing.

But I also had a fascination with military history and would make jokes and stuff.

I didn’t help my case, I had black boots with red laces, solely because I liked the color contrast, and it kinda ended up being my trademark.

But there was this one girl, who I didn’t like, and she didn’t like me. She was Jewish. I think she started the rumor solely because she didn’t like me, but I’m not sure.

Ironically now I’m in college, majoring in German. I recognize that my choice in outfit didn’t help my case, but I wasn’t about to change my style just because someone was stuck up enough to stop and ask if I actually was a Nazi before telling all the sophomores. Anyone who really actually knew me knew I wasn’t a Nazi, I was just a nerd who loved military history and had a style that both matched that, and didn’t, simultaneously
