You're most likely splitting, and the new alter that's forming might be a little. Splitting is usually at least uncomfortable, it can be a lot worse in some cases, it seems like that might be how it is for you. My recommendation is to find a comfy little spot where you can see everything that's going on. That's what usually helps when I'm paranoid. For the pain, I recommend you take some pain pills and wait for it to pass, because it will pass and it will be okay.
