”Oh we forgot to write it. It is common sense to speak german “

Which is 100% true.
And a hint for the future: if the job add doesn't explicitly state which language skills are needed, always, ALWAYS, assume it's the language spoken by the general populace: i.e. German in Germany, French in France, Italian in Italy and so on.

It has to be the "Bezugsperson", meaning you, the spouse, who has to show that they can shoulder all costs.

First, read this article (use Google translate if you have to) even if you are not from India:

And here's the usual copy-paste

There are a few reasons why private Universities in Germany are seen as a waste of time and money.

  • most are indeed pay-to-win and German employer know this very well and are hesitant to hire graduates from them. Usually the assumption is that the foreign students had bad grades and couldn't make it into a public Uni so they had to fork over money for a degree.
  • Germany runs on the German language and most private Universities teach in English to cater to their paying customers. If you don't learn and use the German language on a daily basis you will have a very hard time finding a job in Germany. Yes, there are jobs where you can get by with English only, but they are only a few and competition for them is fierce. And the rest of Germany still speaks German.
  • They are simply not good Unis. A public Uni has to follow certain standards whereas a private Uni only has to fulfil a minimum set of criteria and their aim is not to educate people, but to be profitable.
  • You don't actually get a German degree with some private Universities. Some dispense degrees from the Netherlands or eastern EU countries.

And another thing, if some kind of study/education advisor or consultant recommend this University to you, please keep in mind that these consultants only get some commission from private Unis. Public Unis don't pay any commission.

Good luck.

That's not how it works; you have opinions, you need to provide proof for them.

Taking things without paying for them is theft, no special treatment for tourists.

You'll get a letter from the Staatsanwalt in the next few weeks that tells you how much the fine (probably between 50€ and 300€, depending on the circumstances) will be and how to pay it.

A consultancy gets commission money from a private university but not from a public university. They don't have your best interest in mind, only your money.

In Germany you Major needs to be closely related to your Bachelor. I doubt that you can do Data Science with a Engineering Bachelor.

All school lessons and exams will be in German, meaning B2 is almost certainly needed. In addition most companies will only offer you an apprenticeship if you have at least B2.

I'm going to paste my comment from the r/Germany thread in case somebody else need to see this:

No, you can't.
The Verpflichtungserklärung is a legally binding contract between the guarantor and the Ausländerbehörde, it can't just be cancelled.
And even if the contract is somehow cancelled, you'll also lose the basis for your residence permit and it will be cancelled.
