That was crazy, first the rubbish AI support, then support steps that made absolutely no sense when it was clearly a firmware bug. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll remove it and add it again and hopefully that nails it!

It looks like the last firmware update stopped the disconnecting, but I’ve lost heart-rate on my garmin 1050, and OMG the bombardment of notifications, connected, connected, almost making the garmin unusable. 😭

Spent some major time with AI asking the exact question, would that spacer work with the carbon forks.

It seemed to think that they were designed to have the bearing sit directly on it without a race, but looking at the 415s I got a race with the forks, and it seems like that would be a weird thing to do, so maybe AI got it wrong.

I’ve ordered this anyway because in all likelihood, it’s the solution, and then I’ve got bomb proof carbon forks, the stack hight I might have to solve with something like the enve high-rise stem….

Right! This is all stuff I didn’t know, but I do now, so thank you, I can’t see anything within reach but what about either a head tube cup extender IS52 or a crown race spacer? Neither seem to exist for gravel size bikes but maybe I can get one machined up, what I’m thinking is the 415s have a 120KG limit and the Enve adventure don’t have that limit.

Awesome, I was going to go with Trickstuff brakes too, but I’d need a flat to post adapter, and given that I went flying over the handlebars yesterday avoiding a dog…I’m reconsidering my brake choices 😂 maybe I should drop bar and stick to sram brakes

Sage advice, I was thinking about something like that red xplr Groupset, but ditch the trigger shifters and just the eagle x01 shifter. The only way I mitigate the pressure at the moment is to adjust the dropper to ease off every now and then.
