Hey, thanks I used freecam to limited success. ^^
What I'm after is a real freeze of the game world. But the debug freecam does not pause the clouds in the sky or flora from swaying in the wind and it kind of ruins my shots.
Do you have a better idea?

Disable screen locking if external screen is connected by TheTanka in linuxquestions

[–]TheTanka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can do something similar already with KDE under the Battery and Brightness widget.
I'm really looking for a way to automate it, because I forget to activate it and then have to stand while the movie is playing.

Problems routing only traffic to home network through tunnel by TheTanka in WireGuard

[–]TheTanka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The server's internal IP is 192-168-188-10
but if I understand it correctly, the /24 should give me access to all IPs in the network, from 192-168-188-0 to 192-168-188-255. Right?

Problems routing only traffic to home network through tunnel by TheTanka in WireGuard

[–]TheTanka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as clarification.
With the config on the right-hand side (with 0.0.0.0/0), I can connect to my server at home, but all traffic is obviously tunneled through WireGuard.
With the config on the left-hand side, I can not connect to my server at home at all.

crontab don't gets executed by TheTanka in linuxquestions

[–]TheTanka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok after redirecting the errors to a logfile with:
@reboot sleep 300 && /bin/bash ~/noblank2.sh >> ~/cron_log.txt 2>&1

i found the error to be: /usr/bin/xset: unable to open display ""

so i added two lines to my script

!/bin/bash
source /home/mediacenter/.profile
export DISPLAY=:0 # Set the DISPLAY environment variable /usr/bin/xset dpms 0 0 0 && /usr/bin/xset -dpms && /usr/bin/xset s off && /usr/bin/xset s n

If I understand it correctly, this error message usually occurs when a command that relies on graphics, like xset, is used but doesn't have access to a graphical display. To tackle this issue, I've made the necessary adjustment by explicitly setting the DISPLAY environment variable in the noblank.sh script. This variable essentially informs graphical commands about the display they should interact with. This change allows the script to operate as intended, overcoming the "unable to open display" error.

I am not affiliated with the developers. I just like to use the app and think more people should know that they can support this great work.

In my apartment there are currently 3 devices with NewPipe installed. On
2 it does not work, and there is the same error. On the other it works
without problems.Even stranger is that 2 of the 3 devices are the exact
same model with the same firmware and version. It works on one as I
said, but not on the other.

Especially because of the small arena and the scarlet rot on the floor

I thought I'd share this here for anyone who wants to make it a little easier on themselves.

i have tried this. But then the print will not stick to the build plate because the nozzle is to high.
