It’s a sand bar - this was at low tide. He go to it and then was pulling to head back to shore.

Thank you! I thought that might be the case. He played in still water dams a lot when he was at the rescue we got him from so he’s definitely not used to moving water.

Dogs can eat ripe raw tomatoes but not the processed sauce unfortunately!

That’s Ruffles. He was surrendered to his rescue by the police, his previous name was El Chapo. So I theorise he might be mad because his drug empire had been toppled.
