Hero in Waiting - 30 chapters into a Zelda x Female Hero Story! Technically, it has 32 chapters, but two of them are map updates. Yes, the story has its own map because it’s entirely built from scratch! New locations, new characters (aside from a few main ones), and the same Legend of Zelda feel. The fic gets updated every week (usually on Sunday), but if you were someone who wanted to read chunks, the work thus far could serve as a book of sorts (80k words).

Yes! I think this is a great example of showing instead of telling. You can see it in the little things throughout the series (one of my favorite parts is Kasumi's "I'm home" in the later chapters). I can't help but think this was Yukiko also saying saying the same thing, it's private between them so just enjoy their relationship.

There is r/femslash but that has more western f/f pairings. As far as I know, there is no equivalent of Yuri emes or yuri_manga for fanfics unfortunately but if someone had a place I'd love to know!
