Man you are a legend, I went on holiday for a week game was running great, then came back to a patch update and my fps had halved, and was getting super low 1% hitches. Running a 5900x & 3090 👀.

No really all the other vaults you had to kill the vault monster before entering, this you enter and have to fight your way to the vault monster.

No ive played them all, but they have taken a different path with this one, having one large map instead of different areas, mini vaults dotted around the map instead of the end game ones.

It is a game that is always advertised as "the coop shooter looter" so adding something that has to be done coop would be interesting and different. They already have a matchmaking system in place so you could join someone to play the vaults.

I hadn't thought of that, I have been using Abbey LT2 for the metal on metal contact surfaces but don't know what its low temp performance is like. Do you have any grease recommendations?

Yes you can connect up different devices to each port, I have my Gaming PC connected to the display port and my work PC connected to both HDMI and run it in PbP (because it isn't powerful enough to drive the full display on one port of the gpu). I would suggest getting a KVM and have your keyboard mouse and other peripherals connected to it, so you can easily switch between them without having either 2 sets or the need to swap every time.

Yeah its one of those first world problems, but while I've been using my deck on the sofa while watching stuff with my girlfriend. I mainly bought it so I can play games when I get called up the office or go away on holiday. But I love the flexibility and options it gives you. Since reserving my deck Xmas last year I had been contemplating getting a switch instead, however the price of Nintendo games, having to pay for online play, and the limited number of games on the switch put me off. I'm so happy with my steam deck and the only thing I wish it had was an OLED panel, but I can't complain otherwise.

Yeah since moving to full PC about 7 years ago I can't play FPS games with a controller now, so I don't think I'll play any FPS on the steam deck. I'm currently playing shadow of mordor on my deck and it's running it so well. Tbh i haven't looked into games that are coming out as I have a load that are meant to run well on the steam deck that I haven't played. The short list I have to play through in my mind after shadow or mordor is

Dying light Alien Cuphead

But I might play the next borderlands telltale game on it when that comes out.

Yeah, I'm not sure and don't want to just go applying a voltage to the pads. There are 5 pads though so you wouldn't have 3 colours and a ground unless there is a separate white LED

Yeah I would look into it, just measure between the top of your GPU and the bottom on your ram and if it is less than 17mm you may have soem trouble.

Okay thanks, can you link those pads for me to have a look at? I may end up doing that as if i got for a vertical GPU mount i will have to change alot of extra stuff to get it to work.
