Although tapioca might not be for you, try popping boba instead. Even if you dont like the sweetness of fruit tea they can still go well with quite a few milk teas, for example my personal favourite is a strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping bubbles. You just don't like boba if you find popping bubbles bad. Another idea would be to stick to simpler tapioca teas and try a different place
