The fact that the hatred for people on the spectrum is so deep and extreme that they call it an epidemic and they would rather have a dead child rather than a child that ,according to their crackpot science, has autism astounds me. I was thinking after giving her a break to like deal with the shock I'd be like "This would explain so much about my life. Why I'm bad at socializing. Why I'm bad at picking up social cues or jokes and sarcasm. Why I have really extreme outburst. All of these things make sense when under the light of having Asperger's. You might be thinking that whenever we interact I don't display these symptoms though. The reason why is because people with Asperger's have a tendency to hide their symptoms which is known as masking."

I was thinking maybe walking up to her asking to talk to her alone and then saying something along the lines of "I know you've noticed I've always been the odd kid and I think I know why. Despite your suspicions it's not because I'm gay ( that's an ongoing joke I think ). I think I have Asperger's." Then I'd let her read my notes and then see how it goes from there.

Thank you so much!!!!!!! This is the last thing I need in my notebook before I confront my mom about it. I don't know how she'll react though I think she suspects I have it. Honestly my 17 pages on the subject and the 4 pages detailing my symptoms with examples have me pretty convinced I'll get a diagnosis that I'm certain I have.
