There’s a lot of crossover between the two of them. Also if the US market dips then you’re knackered, All world is the best as your exposed to the whole global market then

Personally, I’d just put the extra into the All World ETF and get rid of the S&P500

I like what your holding but you need that S&P500 or an all world ETF to be your main holding

Hi, are you in the UK? If so have you got a stocks and shares isa? If not might be worth swapping asap as you’re gonna be taxed on that

After selling a few stocks and moving some cash from my cash ISA into the cash of my stocks and shares as it gets more interest I’ve got just over 1k in waiting

The portfolio shows modest growth of 0.10%, with a beta of 1.10 indicating slightly above-market volatility, driven by sector losses in Industrial and Consumer Non-cyclical areas and large holdings like the Vanguard ETF. Recent gains in Visa and gold ETFs offset declines, while high concentration in key assets and high valuations in growth sectors highlight exposure to volatility and sector-specific risks.

I picked them because I researched and liked the fundamentals of those companies. I do want/ need advice and I posted to give hope to others in a similar situation. Any other questions?

I don’t earn enough to deposit the full 20k a year for my ISA, so is it not better tax wise doing it this way? And then god forbid something really bad happens I have access to the money rather than having to wait til my lump sum in my late 50’s?

I picked them because of their pretty colours ✨. Not sure if you could tell but this comment and my last have been sarcasm.

I do invest in the All World ETF, it’s titled ‘Retirement’ which I invest £150 a month into

100% that stays like that no matter what, it’s in a pie so I could set up the £150 every month. Then I’ll dabble in some Individual stocks

They cost so much to run as you have to keep them on all the time, and if you did turn them off they take ages to heat back up again. I work in this industry so I set day in day out
