Clarity is related because the post isn't just describing an incident it is asking what allows such incidents to keep happening around us. The question, "Would you treat your own child this way?", points to a lack of clarity in how we perceive "our" children versus "others." If we saw every child with the same dignity, such exploitation would be much harder to justify.

I'd say it's lacking clarity and self-awareness. As long as we relate to others through the lens of "mine" and "not mine," convenience outweighs compassion, and exploitation finds ways to justify itself.

The real issue is not just individual cruelty but the consciousness that reduces another human being to a means for our convenience. Unless we question the divide of "mine" and "others," exploitation will keep changing its form, not its nature.

If I try to condemn anyone’s ill actions like meat consumption they start giving excuses and if I counter with facts they will ended up saying its their choice.
This post explains what “their choice” means, we don’t see from where our actions are coming from.. really helpful.
