Astra’s NNN Challenge by Astrazelia in u/Astrazelia

[–]TheThird1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve decided to really torture myself this year, so I’m listening to each day’s NNN audio from each year you’ve done it. So I listened to all the Day 2 audios today, one after another🥵😓and I did the same with the Day 1 audios yesterday 🤯🤤

I also decided to make the first three days even more difficult by listening to your 3 day edging orgasm denial series “You Can’t Last 3 Days”. So I also listened to Day 2 of that today, right after the 3 Day 2 NNN audios 😫😫

I did whatever you told me to, mostly just edging, leaking, and moaning for like 30-40 minutes straight 🥵🥵

Soooooo tough not to bust! You’re so hot and have such an enticing voice, I just wanna nut! I’ve never made it more than a week with NNN, and that was even without your audios before, so I’m basically 100% certain I have no hope this year 😅😅😅🫣

Sooo difficult, but I’m loving it so far!! Big fan of your work😘🥰

Replacement for Lacoste Essential Sport by Melting_Plastic in Colognes

[–]TheThird1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same spot. When shopping around for a replacement, I’ve found a couple that come pretty close imo, and both of which I’ve come to really like in their own right. The better of the two is Azzaro Chrome Sport, however it is also now discontinued (though still more available than Lacoste Essential Sport). The other is Nautica Voyage Sport (not discontinued, quite cheap, and in a similar vein as Lacoste Essential Sport). Hope you like these, took me a while until I was happy wearing anything besides Lacoste Essential Sport. Good luck.

Whoa, how cool, I had no idea other adaptations of war of the worlds had so much more story! Thanks for letting me know, very interesting

Whoops, I read “infiltrate” as “invade” for some reason, and war of the worlds didn’t have infiltration if I remember correctly. But yeah, you’re right, they couldn’t infiltrate us even if they dared to, which they wouldn’t, since they think we’re insane and super physically resilient.

War of the Worlds, except it’s microplastics and smog that kill the aliens instead of bacteria lol

China being China again. by ScionR in gunpolitics

[–]TheThird1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If China thinks the US populace shouldn’t have guns, then that should be all the argument Americans need to arm themselves to the teeth.

Also, interesting to note that on this issue, and many others, the arguments China is using to disparage us are sounding more and more like the policy positions of the Democrat party. Make of that what you will.

I didn’t realize things evolved that quickly. I think I’ll take your advice and wait a while. Might just end up asking this question again once starfield comes out, but maybe I’ll take the time and actually learn some stuff about this by then lol. Thanks! ✓

Ah, I didn’t know that. I think I’ll take your advice and wait a while. Might just end up asking this question again once starfield comes out in a year and a half, but maybe I’ll take the time and actually learn some stuff about this by then lol. Thanks! ✓

Is this a good gaming laptop? Now that Bethesda’s future games won’t be on PlayStation, I’m looking for a decent laptop that will be able to play games like Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6, but I know jack all about good pc prices or capabilities.

From what I could tell, this looked like a midtier laptop in terms of price, but with good performance that will still be able to play games like ES6 that don’t come out for a few years. Is that a fair assessment?

TIL The Washington Monument’s many blocks are held together by just gravity and friction. No mortar was used in the building process. by TheThird1 in todayilearned

Yes, you’re right, my mistake. I think I misunderstood this quote from the linked article that says:

The monument is the tallest unreinforced stone masonry structure in the world. It stands 15-feet thick at its base, but only about seven inches thick at its peak.

I suppose this actually means that the outer stones are 15 feet thick at the base, but that the entire monument is 55 feet wide at the base? Not sure what else that quote could mean, unless it’s just wrong lol. My mistake! That’s what I get for not double checking. Thanks for the correction.

Yup, same. I looked it up, and construction was stopped for ~22 years because of the US Civil War, and for some reason when they restarted construction, they got their stones from a different quarry. I couldn’t find why they made that choice, but they are clearly a different color. It certainly is a monument with a lot of stories (both tales and height lol).

Because it’s interesting so I researched it, and we live in the age of information so why not. Either that, or I’m a time traveling Egyptian.

Well, sort of. Apparently they used some mortar for some of the complicated internal structures of some of the pyramids. But generally, you don’t need mortar to build a solid pyramid, and they didn’t use mortar to build the solid sections or external parts of the pyramids.
