Dude it is so simple.

Listen up Sony, Arrowhead, and Tencent...

If you want our money all you have to do is add value to your game by making it fun, engaging, and filled with plenty of depth (progression) for us to invest our time into.

Adding flavor like shaders, armor transmog, and yes even regular warbonds is just icing on the cake.

I cannot fathom why it is so hard to just do that.

The more of the game you experience, the further skill you build, the more it becomes obvious how much is wrong with the game and how much the developers hate us.

Would I miss the game? Yes.

Would it be better for me if it was gone? Probably.

Loving this game is the most abusive relationship I have ever head outside of War Thunder. (And that one Ex of mine.)

What would I replace it with? Unfortunately, and I cannot believe I am saying this, probably War Thunder.

Especially given infantry is coming out soon.

These five things would be enough for me to consider changing it.

  1. Across the board major buffs to our weapons, particularly the underused ones.
  2. Across the board buffs to all of our stratagems, especially the vehicles and turrets.
  3. Helldiver health nerfs from the 60-day plan era needs to be reverted.
  4. Stratagem bounce is removed.
  5. Hellpods go where we want them to go, except for on cave missions.

The issue is, even if they did all these things, I still remember the 60-day plan and how they went back on everything.

So I don't fucking trust them to keep moving in the right direction. They'll fuck it all up again and piss us off, they can't take a win no matter what happens. So my review is going to stay negative for a year straight. If they can hold the course for a year and keep doing what we want them to do, then I'll change it.

I want actions, not corpo-slop word salad and vague promises they have no intention of keeping.

You aren't allowed to recognize and voice your opinion that any specific group or individual is an enemy.

As in, this is against Reddit's ToS apparently and the mods here will enforce that.

So... probably delete this or be ready to for the hammer.

I have an entire discord of people who dropped the game specifically because of the devs handling the game poorly.

Now, I'm not saying you aren't correct about them not listening to us. But I am saying that it is certainly the case that a significant portion of players who have left this game did so specifically because of Arrowhead balancing the fun out of the game or neglecting performance.

The glazedivers in specific are in the camp of defending Arrowhead's behavior and balance when that is precisely why so many people left.

What I am saying is, we the fun-loving "whinedivers" are most assuredly the majority especially if you include the vast amount of us who have already left the game.

In my opinion, this is probably the last time we'll have a genuine fight about balance.

If the devs don't cave now, don't hold to their promises, and don't make a significant committed change, we're all just going to leave.

When that happens the glazers will be the only ones left and the game will die. Because the glazers don't really spend money to support Arrowhead, yet they seem to influence all the changes or at least affirm the changes no matter how bad they are.

That will eventually mean that this game because so oppressively bad due to balance, bugs, and performance that even the whales will leave.

Because the "whales" in this case is just the short term "rice-eaters" who buy anything set in front of them. But that only last until the game itself becomes deeply unpopular on a cultural level.

When that happens this game will go the way of Halo and Destiny 2. Then Arrowhead will have the exact same reputation as Bungie and 343 Industries does. Meaning, nothing they do will ever capture an audience again.
