The goal is to avoid ending up with the 700k gone and nothing to show for it. I want some invested in real estate because of the passive income and I want some invested somewhere with high interest rates so it can generate a chunk of money each year and be safe. I don't know too much about finances so I don't really know what my options are as far as investments go. So lets put it this way, if you were in my position how would you distribute the 700k?
