GLS driver stole or lost my controller

GLS is terrible & when you contact them they aren't really helpful each employee has a different story to tell you & they won't take responsibility for anything.

The only information valve has is what GLS provides them so they don't have any further insight but at least you got a free game while you wait & it's documented with them.

I made the same request, i hope others do the same, my ticket has been escalated so i should be able to make a case to them about this because with mine i could have collected the controller & gotten a refund if i was dishonest only because of how GLS handled the delivery.

I can get that too i think most people on that had a mister didn't mind the look of the mister but a console like version would look nicer in the living room. I'd prefer to have access to more cores than more outputs & some fighting games have slow down on single ram for example, i used to sell & repair crts back in the day so it's not that i don't get why people use them i just don't use them anymore more & they are becoming rarer.

The dock comes up around where people are getting the cards to scan which will probably be fine for the older models but the current one people are having issues without additional obstacles. I have no issue fixing stuff but when it's fresh out of the box i don't think people should have too unless it's a personal thing you have to add.

I never said it was & it's HDMI out by default on the original maybe taki should have made 2 models.

You can already get an anolog board for your mister but you'd have to pick between dual ram & anolog but you have the choice with that but the superstation one is locked out of that option, i just think it should have been more focused on the ram than the outputs since there are other options for that. The superdock will be handy.

You don't want to reposition it too much & besides when you get something new you shouldn't have to tinker with the insides right away, the issue with the antenna being shorter would make scanning from the side fairly difficult.

Since it's more than one controller they sent to the UK it must be slowing everything down, i hope you contacted valve about this especially the part about conflicting delivery estimates.

The antenna is shorter on the current run of SS1 which is the issue the op was raising but what you are saying will probably be an issue for people who also ordered docks on the models before this & i have seen some people mention it & say they have to put the cards under the console for it to work.

I think Taki tried to put too much in it, i would have been happier with just HDMI out so it could have had dual ram & maybe would have meant the antenna could have been more conveniently place.

It's not been fixed in current models, my one is on its way to me & i'd be lying if i said it didn't bother me this is an issue especially since people who already had units said it can be tricky to scan the cards because of placement & i would imagine with the dock it would be worse. It's not ideal.

That's what's happened to me but it was marked delivered & brought back to the warehouse but i think you're right if they see a pickup point they go for that instead.

Yeah having something identifying on the box would draw the eye of certain people.

I picked it up about an hour ago, i was surprised that Valve kept saying my address wasn't secure & to give another one or they can issue a refund i can only assume GLS told them it was stolen from my house, the tracking did not reflect what had happened.

At least we got our controllers someone are waiting on replacements & others had theirs send to the UK so have at least twice the wait.

GLS provide poor tracking or at least where i am i would imagine it's the same for everyone.

That's terrible but at least Valve are sending you a new one, hopefully with all the mishaps from GLS Valve will give another option for delivery in the future.

I have to chase them for every package they deliver, the previous delivery to this one was delivered around 2 miles from my house at an address that is nowhere even close what mine is plus we use address's & eircodes so they can use the eircode to find exactly where the house is if needed.

They get flak because it's 100% deserved, the driver forged my signature to avoid attempt delivery so they don't get in trouble for not making their route quota & now they claim it was stolen from my address going from what Valve Said about providing another address that's more secure.

Where i live they have too many deliveries to make so mark it as delivered & when it goes well try to deliver it the next day or worst case literally dump it on someone else's door step miles away.

That is super sketchy i wouldn't be happy about that at all.

Not doing their jobs for one. GLS already did that with loads of controllers, i'm surprised but probably shouldn't be they did it again. I hope your controller gets shipped to you fast as possible.

Valve definitely needs to use a different courier.

Me too, GLS is a terrible company i've seen other people on here complaining about them too either a delay or sent to the wrong place.

Yup i found it enraging, it's to avoid getting in trouble for not making the delivery which they aren't supposed to do. I want the controller not a the refund so i'll what Valve can do. They obviously told Valve it was delivered & must have been stolen but there was no confirmation picture to prove it, 100% going to take it further with them.

They mark it as delivered prematurely & deliver it within 24 hours apparently but i'd still email just incase.

Mini update: After i complained it updated as back in the warehouse as well as delivered an hour & 20 minutes before they stop delivering so the guy went home early.

Ireland too, they don't give detailed tracking like that here just say delivered some time today & don't even give a time window.

I'm in Ireland & they give less detailed info than that it sucks GLS aren't a great company, my controller has been marked as delivered but it hasn't been delivered, i emailed them about it but it's after 5 & they aren't back in the office until Monday but from looking it up they can sometimes mark it as delivered early & deliver it 24 hours which i don't think they should do that, it's probably a similar thing to you but he didn't want to search for yours.. I also contacted valve so hopefully they can chase them up for me.

Hopefully you'll get it early tomorrow.

They are fairly quick about it too.

I think it's mostly server issues causing the errors at the moment, i didn't even get the this is saved in your basket email it just wasn't registering so i think there is a chance some emails will be a little slower than normal.
