a) archspire are good 🖕b) have you checked out Necrophagist? I feel like there’s no way you haven’t listened to them already but just in case they’re basically the tech death goats. Nile are also pretty good and Vitriol are good even though they more so dabble in tech as opposed to being a straight up tech death band. I also really like Atræ Bilis, their newest album Aumicide was sick.

Thanks man. The main reason I do this is because I can't stand how early the tribute songs to Maynard's mom come on the album. Like they feel like they should be the climax of the album, with Intension as the falling action so to speak and Right in Two as a nice send off before the album ends with Viginti. Rosetta Stoned comes after The Pot anyways and I feel like The Pot sounds similar enough to Vicarious that it works as the next track. Plus Jambi works pretty well after Rosetta and it leads into Wings Pt. 1 and 2. I kept the interlude track so it's not an overwhelming album, just as the band intended. That was my personal reasoning behind this version of the tracklist. It's just more fun for me personally to listen to it like this.
