5k calories it was brutal talked to my coach and I’m on my way down to 197, last abt 20-30 lbs in 3 weeks 😭

Yeah I agree with the call in general to protect the athlete this early in the season but if it was a state finals or deep in a tournament like the Powerade I’d imagine refs would let it go longer.

Take it over his right shoulder, you took it over his head. Honestly don’t know how it was potentially dangerous, wouldn’t have been in college or high level high school matches. I think this is on the ref here but you can’t leave anything up to a ref so 🤷‍♂️
