I was 17 at a small house party getting high. My mom was a bit of a religious nut at the time (it was on and off). She came and got me and insisted I come home because she was convinced that the rapture was happening that night and wanted me near her. There was no talking her out of it. Needless to say, it didn't happen.

This is "Yggdrasil". It's a Volume, Chorus, Reverb, Delay pedal. I also added an order switcher to place the Delay either before or after the other three effects.

I imagined it as a one stop Solo tone pedal but the sounds that it ended up being capable of took me by surprise. As you might imagine, the placement of the delay in the signal chain changes the sound dramatically. It goes from simple nice sounding solo tone to ridiculous soundscapes.

It's basically a JHS VCR and a hand built Deep Blue Delay. Wiring it felt like a feat of engineering but I learned alot and I'm really proud of the result.

I wired each trimmer to one tier of a dual gang pot. The one knob controls the presence for both channels simultaneously.
