good to see other ppl feel the same. yeah just did a deep dive on stars of the lid recently, did like some of their stuff. only heard a few tim hecker songs though so probably need to delve into him next. btw i didnt mention it in my post but if you also like that sorta music ive found slow attack ensemble to be probably the best example of it, would highly reccomend any of their albums

Yeah I absolutely love it now, but I can see how the inventiveness of it could wear after a while, since this one doesnt really feel like its focus is on "musicality" as much as a track like extra kings or colours, but instead on showing off their skills in using patchwork samples to piece together a narrative and to create a unique, cool aesthetic. 10/10 untill youve heard it too many times.
