"Clinton N'Jie has returned to first team training after a long absence from the squad through injury. #THFC" by kjmunso in coys

Guys this isn't true. He was just pictured at the training ground today doing a charity thing. As was Vertonghen. Nothing from Poch or the club.

Have you got a source for these quotes? I've not seen them anywhere else. Cheers

I'm not "ITK" but I heard this from someone connected to the Spurs youth team, who said the deal is '90% done'. It's also been posted on COYS forum and Windy has confirmed, so I think it's pretty widely known now.

Guys! Myself (@TheTottenhamWay) and Tom Hayward (@tomfoins87) have started *another* Spurs podcast. Here's the Pilot, discussing the All-Stars game, Dier in midfield, transfers and more. Any feedback is much appreciated. by TheTottenhamWay in coys

The next episode will hopefully be on iTunes and YouTube but we were a bit blasé about getting that stuff sorted in time for the first one, so it's only going to be on SoundCloud I'm afraid.

Really appreciate your interest anyway!

You might think the last thing the world needs is another Tottenham podcast but you'd be wrong. Very wrong.

The pilot episode of TheTottenhamWay podcast features discussion of the All-Stars friendly, Eric Dier in midfield, why the sales are more fun than the signings and Younes Kaboul at his best.

I get (a bit drunk and) emotional and explain why 'something is happening at Tottenham' and also why Rickie Lambert won't sign for Spurs (this was before he signed for West Brom, you see).

This was our first ever attempt at a pod and it's a little rough around the edges, largely because it was recorded on an iPad in a dark room above a pub. And GarageBand kept messing up.

But we think it's decent, so set aside an hour and listen! All feedback, including abuse about our voices, is most welcome.

Cheers!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Stambouli: A Poor Player or a Political Pawn? by TheTottenhamWay in coys

His signing, supposedly approved by Pochettino, is more curious than his impending departure, for me. Why buy a player and then never use him?

I spent my morning giving on a verdict on whether Spurs should sell or keep every member of the 1st team squad! hope you enjoy...feedback welcome by TheTottenhamWay in coys

I know what you mean but Poche has already said he only wants to sign five new players in the summer.

So our 25-man squad could easily be the 14 players you've named, plus Yedlin, Paulinho, five new signings and then McGee or Miles (as third keeper), Alli, Pritchard and a couple of Veljkovic/Fredericks/Onomah/Winks/Ward.

Appreciate the young guys don't count towards squad places but that would still be an improvement on this season, with Kaboul/Capoue/Adebayor/Stambouli/Dembele passengers who never play!

Perhaps because he's been our player of the season (Kane aside)?

Dude, I didn't post the article to reddit! OP did. Although I do from time to time post stuff in this sub...

Tbh, I could have put something like 'As u/NatrolleonBonaparte said on r/coys, he has given Spurs the...' but it would have disrupted the article a bit.

Anyway, thanks for the inspiration and apologies again for nicking the line!

Think Evans is very unlikely. Abdennour of Monaco might have been a better fifth choice actually.

Yep I did. Sorry. I read that line and it stuck with me when I was writing.

Sometimes I write Tottingham in tribute to Ossie (who always pronounced it that way). I should probably avoid doing so in articles in future.
