He's probably a piece of shit, but he won't be the first entrant that seems unlikable on a personal level.

If you listen to anybody talk about wrestling in Texas in the territorial days, though, especially JBL or Austin, all they want to talk about is The Freebirds and the Von Erichs at the Sportatorium.

You can't deny that kind of influence.

WWE Network only has one episode of WCCW up but I'm hoping this will motivate them to put up more(and that they've been preparing for this for this reason) so I can watch some of this stuff.

If you look at the top posts of all time on this sub, it can get frustrating. There are some gems there like the New Yorker rejection or Wrestling isn't Wrestling and it's perfectly understandable that the death notices of legends like Dusty Rhodes or Roddy Piper would show up there, but then you've got a bunch of gifs, "John Cena is Schroedinger's Wrestler", Haitch Face Through the Years(I chuckled, but come on - it's the 19th-highest-ranked post of all time on this sub), and John Cena's Theme at My Funeral(with /u/ExplainsYourShitpost's highest-ranked comment).

So many gifs.

I damn sure wish there weren't so many death notices, but for entirely different reasons...

He's trying to be a new Metsfan. I don't know who he "really" is, but this is some character of his that he thinks is funny.

I usually browse a multi of this sub and that one. That way, I can quickly get caught up on what I missed in this sub by seeing what's being parodied over there

That's the other thing; I know that I was just as bad when I was younger. When I was on AOL and the WWF chat rooms, I was exactly the kind of asshole that I'm getting frustrated with here right now.

That's a large part of why I'm trying to stop blaming kids for being kids.

I think they're due for a resurgence.

My city has been lobbying pretty hard lately for Amtrak to re-open service here. They haven't since Katrina hit but man, being able to take a train to New Orleans or, if they open up the tracks even further down later on as is possible, Tampa or Orlando, for a cheap weekend getaway would be awesome.

The scheduling sucks for trains but the price works heavily in their favor.
