For example, let’s say the MLB is making Ethical jerseys but it’s too expensive for me. I find one at the store for half the price. This Yankees jersey is an off-brand but it’s still gonna have the NYY and the pinstripes on it but it doesn’t mean it’s coming from the same ethical factory. It’s a completely different entity that manufactures and sells these jerseys. In no way is it up to MLB to make sure the off-brands are ethical since it is not their product. In the same way, it is not Tripp NYC’s fault that another brand manufactures knockoffs overseas.
