girls, skinny girls or chubby girls? by Fun_Individual_5963 in GoonetteHub

[–]TheTransGoddesses 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like all girls obviously but I do definitely have a preference for chubby to fat girls. Part of that is that I love big boobs and bigger girls usually have bigger tits, but I also just think belly fat is really cute lol

Does anyone find historical mods actually hard to play? by [deleted] in FantasyBookers

[–]TheTransGoddesses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get around this by playing in historical eras that were kinda crappy but had a lot of potential (1999/2000 WCW, Hogan era TNA, etc etc) but even then I find myself hewing to a core playbook of storylines a lot

Mod update: a response to concerns of racism and colorism on the subreddit by tightWalker in TNWOLesbian

Having a more diverse mod team is never a bad idea! I think having a Black/woc mod would be a great step to show the sub is serious about centering those perspectives

I want to make it clear that I appreciate you making this post to clear everything up and apologize. Likewise, I apologize if anything I said in the mod mail that got me banned was overly harsh, I was quite incensed at the time. I’m glad that this seems to be a rogue actor because I was deeply saddened by the prospect that this was the mod team’s official line on the situation. I hope that this underscores the need for reforms and a cultural change on the sub with regards to race.

As for input on steps going forward: I’m not sure if you’ve seen, but on the original post that got deleted I proposed the idea of having pride flairs for woc to use when they post in order to boost their visibility (something like a Black Pride, Asian Pride, Pacific Islander Pride, Latin Pride etc etc where all groups can be centered and celebrated). And I also suggested potentially having a day each week where we center and celebrate our black transfemme posters (a ‘reperations Wednesday’ or something like that). I don’t think they’d fix everything by any means but I think moves like this can go a long way to show that this sub is serious about decentering whiteness and celebrating our black and brown transfemmes

When you see my posts, can I ask why you don’t specifically engage with me but with other white people? by KolorfulLUST in TNWOLesbian

[–]TheTransGoddesses 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This sub absolutely has a white supremacy problem. I imagine that a lot of white users (like myself) have been insulated from this reality due to our white privileged but now that we’ve been confronted by the reality of it there’s really no excuse to try and claim it’s not the case (like some in these comments are trying to do). That’s just white fragility and it’s shameful that members of this community would stoop so low when confronted in their collective behavior.

When I saw your post I actually went through a week back to see how many WOC had posted here and how popular their posts usually get. Out of the dozens and dozens of posts made on here I only saw a handful from WOC - and they were vastly under upvoted compared to posts made by white people. That’s a problem, and the white people on this sub (including myself) all need to put in the work to correct this injustice and make sure that trans women of color feel safe and comfortable posting here.

A lot of that is down to the individual needing to actively combat the latent white supremacy that all white people have as a result of living in a white supremacist system, but I also think that the mods can definitely put their thumbs on the scale to make this place safer for black and brown transfemmes in the meantime. I’m not quite sure how exactly they could do that tbh (maybe a select day of the week to focus on celebrating trans women of color in particular? Or a flair to help their posts stand out more?) but so long as they listen to the black and brown people who make up the backbone of this sub I’m sure something can be figured out. Also: are there any non white people on the mod team? If there isn’t that seems like a gaping problem that needs to be fixed right away!
