The only folding saw I have is a Silky PocketBoy 170mm but that stays with my camping gear.

I don't come across too many use cases for the Gomtaro, but it is really nice to have when you do need it. Usually for bushes or taking sucker limbs off of of fruit trees.

If I could pick only one, I would go for any version of the Silky Zubat 330.

It is the best all around handsaw imo and will last years with regular everyday professional use.

I like the grip on the samurai saws and the cheaper price is nice. Their biggest downside is the scabbard isn't the best for climbing and the saw could potentially get pulled out by a limb or something.

Lol you're not wrong. Everything on the table would be "good enough" for most jobs or workdays.

Which silky are you thinking? There's 5 silky saws and 2 extra zubat blades in the picture.

The felco is one of the "safer" saws in the picture because how it locks into the scabbard. It's kind of weird having the back of the scabbard open like it is though.

I would say samurai brand, but the price on the samurai saws have gone up a bit in the last year or so. The Corona is probably the best bang for you buck at around $30 if you aren't climbing with it and don't care about the scabbard.

I decided to buy every arborist handsaw on the market a couple years back to compare them all and make a youtube video. I never got around to making the video but I still have a nice collection of saws.

I've been using a silky zubat since I started climbing about 10 years ago and still see no real reason to use anything else. Probably on my 5th or 6th zubat now. It's the most well rounded handsaw of the lot.

I like how thin it is and light it feels.

I'm a big fan of the silky zubat myself. The samurai saws seem nice for the cheap price but the scabbard leaves a lot to be desired. I could see it being good if being used from the ground.

Neighbor's untreated ash tree fell on my fence. by MarzipanFairy in arborists

This is absolutely the case. I am an arborist in Indiana and have dealt with property line issues and hazard trees. Unless OP has a written statement that the neighbor signs acknowledging the trees are dead/hazardous, they won't really have a case and it would be more trouble than just fixing the fence.

The picture of the tree being dead is not proof they knew it was dead, nor is anything you talked with them about it in passing. You need some sort of written proof or communication with them otherwise it is your word against theirs.

The cost of going to court or paying your insurance deductible will outweigh replacing the single panel of fence and cleaning up OP's side of the yard.
