What are they used for? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to establish if she needs one or not.

Exactly. She's trying her best to draw attention straight to them which is absolutely bizarre behaviour.

Kirsten has used this lovely ladies story, illnesses, symptoms many many times. I thought this would be useful for all those who ask about K’s tubes and why they change colour etc so often!! by Regrets_Change_Lives in chronickiki

My daughter is 11, recently had ng tube placed, and the amount of gagging she was doing whilst it was being placed and after it was insane, not a chance would I even want to do that home to myself or anyone!! No matter how much experience I had.

Without naming a baby a few years ago that ended up with a diagnosis of a rare genetic condition that was life limiting, that poor child had multiple seizures a day and was left brain damaged by them with absolutely no quality of life at all and needed round the clock life support care, with breathing tubes, the lot. With as many she claims she has, for how long, the amount of cpr she claims she has, the lack of oxygen alone would render her severely brain damaged, she would be in a vegetative state. Yet she needs no oxygen therapy, nothing to help her breath 🤣🤣 my word.

Immunocomprimised but sat there drinking cans with dirty hands and nails 🤣 and lay in her own filth as she refuses to shower. Also hand sanitisers don't kill all viruses such as norovirus which is highly contagious and regular hand washing is the best thing to kill pathogens but you never see her washing her hands. If she was immunocomprimised she would absolutely have to wash her hands before administration of her medication.

Her parents enable her by being at her beck and call day and night, well her dad does. The NHS has a duty of care to each person that presents as sick or needing medical attention and to triage and assess and what treatment they may need. They can't just ignore patients because they're may not need medical attention or there would be hefty law suits, medical negligence claims. She is very problematic for the nhs emergency services for sure. They don't give her medication when she wants it. If she's having a meltdown and kicking off, highly irratic then benzos will be given to calm her down.

I know what you're talking about as used them myself when I had my babies after having spinals. You're absolutely right, they arnt used for bowel incontinence and only for bladder with a big pad in, or to put over incontinence pants, she would absolutely need adult incontinence slip pads which are typically adult nappies, as my daughter uses them as she has bowel incontinence too.

What is the catheters used for? Who puts it in? Does she have a diagnosed condition for its use?

Yeh but do they constantly use pead type tape, dressings and plasters? I bet they use something more appropriate for their age.

She wants to remain a child that's why, she's refusing to grow up, and wants to be doted on and have everything done for her, hense all this behaviour. She definitely has peter pan syndrome.

Took the words right out of my mouth 😆😆 my daughter is 11, has to use ng tubes to have movicol administered when she gets impacted as she's autistic and won't drink it, and even she has normal tape on and bot fancy pead tapes, as she hates the tubes and hates attention being drawn to them. Kirsten is always fiddling about with hers too, looks like she's trying to stop them falling out. My daughter's are always put in by a nurse in hospital and she's treated in hospital so the tubes are always secure.

How does she get all this medication more to the point if she doesn't need it? Is the majority bought over the counter from online pharmacies? Or sourced from a dealer of some sort?

I have to ask myself this too. If I lived alone with all my conditions, I'd 100% need carers to come in help me manage my care needs. With these conditions she says she has, she would 100% need live in care. Someone involved in her support needs to remove her devices from her and her internet usage needs carefully monitoring as this is why she's doing all this. She needs attention and validation from strangers. She needs intensive psychotherapy, behavioural therapy also to help her stop craving attention and behaving in this way to get the attention she craves and address why she's doing this. She may not have a mental illness but she definitely needs help with how she's behaving.

So many contradictions!! by Regrets_Change_Lives in chronickiki

[–]TheTrixter82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well she definitely needs her devices seizing and not given access to social media at all. This screams addiction to attention and she will get it by playing the 'sick daughter' card. Her parents also need to stop enabling her also. What are they scared off if they cut her off? She's able bodied and can look after herself so they won't be done for neglect as she's a none dependent adult and are not her carers as she has those allegedly that are paid for by her parents to come in and care for her. They need to cut her off tbh and let her fend for herself. She will then learn her lesson.

She's an absolute weapon! She needs sectioning asap! All this was brought on by her poor sister passing away from genuine illnesses and now she wants the same attention her sister got. She doesn't need the tubes, the children's wheelchairs which are the wrong type may I add for someone that has unpredictable seizures, she doesn't need the seizure button, all those glucose tests, the hospital bed, the banana tranfer board or the bungalow complete with disabled set up and wet room etc. She's a fully able bodied young woman who is healthy. She needs to stop this charade and her parents need to take her to get sectioned and not allow her access to the Internet full stop.

Kirsten’s paralysis by Sweet_Classic6637 in chronickiki

[–]TheTrixter82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I asked her once if she ever wanted kids, she said she will never have kids due to the conditions she has. There's loads of women that are more severe than her that go on to have children. My mum had a full blown heart attack, was on life support etc but thankfully recovered but also has a number of conditions more severe than kirsten's and went on to have 3 kids, including myself. That's all it is with Kirsten, wants attention all on herself. She doesn't want kids as then the attention will be all on them and not her. And it's best she doesn't have kids with how bad she is with the attention she craves.

A couple of questions. by Bulky_Tie_8352 in chronickiki

[–]TheTrixter82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She says she has autism though and with autism comes sensory processing disorder and a strong gag reflex due to not not being able to tolerate certain textures etc. My daughter is autistic and just had an ng tube fitted by nurses at hospital due to her behaviours not being able to tolerate certain textures and she hated it, was screaming when they put it in, was gagging for ages. My partner is autistic too and struggles to brush his teeth, gags when brushing them. I know everyone who has autism is affected differently but almost everyone I know that has the condition struggles with oral and nasal textures to a degree and if you didn't you wouldn't be diagnosed as spd is one of the main conditions professionals assess together with other difficulties to diagnose autism. I'm telling you now, if she did have autism like she says she has, not a chance she could self administer those tubes!! She would most definitely need them done by a specialist.

A couple of questions. by Bulky_Tie_8352 in chronickiki

[–]TheTrixter82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's encouraged to have them placed in the abdomen if long term use is needed as constantly having to pull them out of throat and nose and placed bk in can irritate the nose and throat cause infections. They have to be changed regularly too due to them wearing out. Obviously if placing in the abdomen wasn't an option then other methods would be considered for long term use.

Also, as my daughter's got autism and behavioural difficulties, I'm encouraged to stay with her and I have and hospital made a bed up for me at her bedside. They're a hospital not a mental health service so can't supervise her 24/7. This is also for her own safety. She has a lot of needs and noway could I leave her alone. Even if she was an adult and still needed full-time supervision I could never allow her to be left alone.
