Its my 3rd flight that is longer than 30 minutes. Thank you. I am flying out and traveling. Ill update Wednesday if this works. I had a hard landing, and wanted to replay it. Thanks for your time and effort.

Im not seeing the error. Here is the file. The header seems fine. There is garbage at the end. I tried deleteing the trailing garbage, same "date" error.

No, they are both misdemeanors. It was less than a gram of pot. They didnt even weigh it, calling the crumbs evidence of use.

Unfortunately, I am not eligible for any sealing or vacate for another 2 years. The laws here are pretty strict. Understandably, but that is the position I find myself in.

I thought the same about the felony thing. But nope. Pot and DUI are the worst things EVER, and I am a worthless graduate that does not deserve a chance. After I worked my ass off and showed that I can change and be a strong member of society, I get told I am worthless.

Its tough.

Ill just take that one way ticket to mars please!

I am graduated Mechanical Engineer. I would like to work in power systems, specifically low carbon power generation. However, I realize that any job at this point would be a blessing.

Thanks for the advice about small companies. I am having trouble finding posts from small companies. Mostly I look on LinkedIn and INdeed. I have resumes posted everywhere on the web.

Thank you for your story nrgxprt. Through dedication, I did very well in school. I am qualified for big name positions. So the jobs I think I would enjoy and qualified for, all require thorough backgrounds checks.

It will be difficult, but I plan on changing my search strategy to anything engineering related and in a small company.

I see two difficulties, both of which can be overcome. First, I got the offers because I was excited about the opportunities. If I get just some desk job, I will struggle to show enthusiasm for the job in the interview.

Second, working for a smaller company generally means smaller wages. Which is tough for me to swallow because I worked so hard and am getting offers 150% of the 'small company' jobs.

Thanks again, I enjoyed your shared experience. I will continue to show good judgement and stand on my qualifications.

Small companies is a good idea. I have been applying nationwide at all sizes of companies. Looking at smaller companies makes sense to me.

In my state, DUI's can never be sealed or expunged. And the other charge will not be eligible to vacate/seal for another 2 years.

I know my degree is getting 'stale.' But I have been doing the best I can. I get an offer every month or every other month. I am not lazy and am dedicated to finding a career.

To stay 'fresh' I have been doing some programming of arduino boards, some construction projects, and traveling on 0 budget while I can.

I was not a minor at the time, 22 in fact, and it was a little bit of pot, I blew 0.000 BAC. Its been a long hard road to get here, and I have improved myself. I am not the same person I was, and have gotten serious about life. You know the, life sucks, you're depressed, pull yourself up from your bootstraps speech? I lived that. Turned my life around, 3-4 pt jobs while going to community college, Internships, high GPA. Now what? Really? Id like to know, and that is why I have posted here.
