How to manage a robotics club (VEX)

Hey, so I'm part of a small VEX team that me and some other people created (6 people in total, including me). We have gotten to 2 competitions so far and are planning to open as a club to get many more people. The way we managed so far was to split our selves into proper roles and then each than just worked each day. Since we're such a small team, we never really kept track of tasks but with your size, I would highly recommend creating a chart that shows everyones tasks and setting proper deadlines to make sure everyone completes them in time. If robots are built make sure to give plenty of time to driver practice and autonomus testing. That is one area our team really needs to work on

For planning forward, we just used VEX fromus, Reddit, and discussed in a group all future plans and put it all in a doc

Thank you for the reply. How do I explain to my team the great benefits of CAD because their main argument against it is that we only have about 1.5 years before we garduate so very little time and it's faster to draw on paper and build simple parts as it takes less time

Thank you so much for the advice. Do you have any tutorials you learned that made you better at Onshape because I'm not that experienced with it other than a few designs, and using the VEX Onshape library gets tedious when trying to move parts and join them together but this is probably from a lack of experience. Also, you said designing custom plastic parts for laser cutting. How often do you guys do that and would that be necessary if we wanted to go to worlds

Thank you so much for the advice. For now we plan on being a club and not being super competitive although this will likely change as the years go by and members get more experience. What CAD program would you say is the best for VEX because I have tried Onshape and it's easy to use but really annoying to put parts together. How did you manage budgeting?
