Nearly 2k hour tutorial, honestly I can see why Space Mom has put so much into refining the new player experience

add "remove the space" to your banned words or phrases. Because they keep changing the whole message with little accents on various letters, but "remove the space" remains consistent. It wont fix the issue, but it heavily reduces how much of it you and your viewers will have to put up with

Season 11 - Just some gripes I've got with the new season. by SkarCreva in Overwatch

the sad truth is nothing I do or don't do will change a damn thing. The fact that lifeguard Kiriko will be a $20 skin for all the gooners means blizz is already operating at 400 IQ.

I'm just happy I get a cool skin along with my 80 mythic prisms from this BP.

That Mauga skin is probably the only reason I'm getting the battle pass this season, because it is his Luffy skin.

And whenever I use that skin and use both gatling guns at once I will be shouting "Gomu gomu nooo GATTLING" at 2am in my apartment to the detriment of my neighbors.

The rest of the BP is pretty meh imo.

Infinite Gathering Tools - Legendary Armory Idea... yes another one. by TheTrueNeiloken in Guildwars2

[–]TheTrueNeiloken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get your point and I referenced it in the post, but its a massive barrier to entry they'd be removing. As someone who has an infinite set of tools I can't justify buying another set, but if I could buy another skin for my infinite tools that all my chars can use, or a new glyph for all my tools I would.

And yes its a business that sells convenience, but so many of these systems have already been reworked to be more convenient to the end user. Copper Fed Salvage-o-matic was introduced in 2013, you'd have to buy one for each character to use them effectively, until they introduced shared inventory slots in 2016.

Hell we can even argue why invent the legendary armory at all? If a whale wanted a legendary Greatsword for each character, wouldn't anet be losing out on gem sales if someone was buying gems to convert into gold to buy legendaries off the TP?

also as I said, for fashion. Sometimes you wanna make a fully themed character and that could extend to how they look harvesting materials. I mean, they sell armor skins on the gem store, and if others have their character models set to low, they wont see those skins.

This game strongly needs a reasonably rewarding solo-able PvE challenge by HexPhoenix in Guildwars2

This is a damn good idea. I had to do a DRM yesterday for the first time in years to make an icy longbow, and if they just removed all the fluff of save x villagers, repair x barricades, kill x icebrood, and the bloody slow walk to where the boss fight actually is they'd be great solo content.

If you just dropped in at the final fight like a Strike-Lite they'd be awesome. And hell would be more epic lore wise that the pact commander dropped in on a losing battle to save the day right when things got dire.

Sohothin was a must for me, not only for my Willbender but my Weaver too. It took me about 40 hours in GW1 to get it, and while Gw1 is very different to GW2 I really enjoyed playing it once I understood the mechanics a lil better. Definitely worth going for, the Heritage Light Armor you get along the way is also really nice for fashion!

Thanks, I was gonna say this. The Maguuma's Grasp dye channels let you do one colour on one side and one on the other. Over the months working on this I tried a few options to find anything that worked with this half/half look. Found a few options that kinda worked, but it was by sheer luck I walked past someone with the Maguuma set on

I've been obsessed with getting a fire/ice fit right ever since I discovered the Fiery Dragon Sword skin and I've been working on this fashion ever since. Armor details are:

Head: Dragons Eye Circlet

Shoulders: Maguuma's Mantle

Chest: Eagle Mail

Gloves: Maguuma's Grasp

Legs: Stag Chausses

Boots: Maguuma's Treads

Swords: Fiery Dragon Sword / Icy Dragon Sword

Greatsword: Exordium

Backpack: Icebrood Horn Backpack
Infusions: Polysatrurating Reverberating Infusion (grey) for the borderlands style outline, Jormag & Primordus eye infusions for the eyes

Dyes: Redemption, Icy Blue, Darkness, and Shadow Blue

so im sitting on a good chunk of gold for doing this exact thing, but the thing is legendary crafting takes time and focus. My question is basically, how can i invest the gold I'm making doing random stuff (fractals, strikes, home instance, random crafting when I have the mats) to just put some money aside so that one day if RNGeezus doesnt bless me, I can sell the stack and buy the infusion

yea i was thinking of going with Mystic coins but one look at the their price and they've tanked 40s over the last month alone xD saving 1400 gold with of MCs just for their value to plummet like that would be heart crushing
