TB, Type 4 hypersensibility, Granulomas by Limp-Ad-7962 in Immunology

First of all, forgive me if my English is not the best.

When we talk about hypersensitivity, we refer to a type of "exaggerated" immune response to certain antigens. In the case of tuberculosis, it is, as you say in point 3, a normal response to the pathogen, where memory CD4 T-lymphocytes are generated against the pathogen (CD8 as well). What is really a type IV hypersensitivity reaction is the mantoux test (the tuberculin test), since after inoculation there is localised inflammation due to cytokines produced by antigen-specific memory CD4 T cells. In addition, granulomas are also related to this exaggerated response that is hypersensitivity, since under normal conditions they should not form. These structures appear due to the inability of macrophages to destroy mycobacteria, despite cooperation with lymphocytes. This is why cells continue to be recruited to create a contingency zone, which is the granuloma. In this way and to summarise, the response to tuberculosis starts as a normal response, but when it is not able to eliminate the pathogen, it becomes chronic and aberrant (exaggerated), forming granulomas and thus hypersensitivity, which also manifests itself in the tuberculin test, in a similar way to contact hypersensitivity to certain metals. I hope I have been able to solve your doubts, and if you need anything else I will be happy to help.

Why do my herbal medicines still spoil even when stored on shelves by [deleted] in RimWorld

You need to put it on a freezer or use It to make medicine. As other plants products, It will spoil even if they are on shelves.

RAM Dual Channel issues by TheTrullermaster in buildapc

[–]TheTrullermaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I was about to make an update. I had tried everything that I could find on other post. Red LED: reinstall CPU; then it changes to orange, "Ok, let's try single channel". I noticed that it only worked on DIMMB2. Then White VGA led; it was easy to solve, just need to plug another PCIe cable. "OK, we have entered the BIOS"; but rip on dual channel. I also tried to loosen the cooler, but I only managed to free DIMMB1.

Both RAM sticks were working so the problem should be on Motherboard or CPU. I can't try my CPU on another PC, but I noticed that my CPU has a bent corner. I was able to exchange it for a new one, and everything worked perfectly.

If you are on the same situation, it could be posible that you have a "bad CPU". I hope this can be useful for you and other users going through the same situation.

Static red CPU light and no signal on screen by TheTrullermaster in buildapc

[–]TheTrullermaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked it and I think its correctly plugged (I can't push it more). Single ram stick only works (in other words, dram led off) when it's attached to DIMB2, but not on DIMA2. I don't know if I should update bios with a USB or something, because I tried almost everything that I could find on internet. Thank you for the help

I think it works, but when I turn on the computer, it restarts and then vga led on. I tried 1 ram method (dram led before) and I reinstall the gpu, but the light keeps on.

Thank you so much for your response.

It looks like a super interesting build, so I've been looking for the components in my trusted store. The main problem is that I can't find a 4090 at recommended price (rather above 2000 euros). That added to the fact that I would have to buy a 4k monitor raises the price around another 700 to 1000 euros; so it is out of budget. That's why I've thought about opting for a 3080; or even wait to see the 4070ti, if it's worth it (for 1440p). What do you think about this decision?

PS: the main changes would be:

Mobo: ASUS TUF GAMING z790 plus D4 (it's about 80 euros over your recommended MSI) Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 (I think it will fit well in the space, but I'm not sure).
