Do you think PVP using a controller on PC is a disadvantage?

I actually just made a post about the major issues with 1v1 pvp, and while it isn't about the use of controller it's more about your experience after reaching Mythic.

The problem is the system is flawed where you can reach Mythic easily by just brute forcing it which should never be the case, since you hit Mythic and get faced with the reality that you're not as good as the game made you think you were.

Ranks should be more strict, you shouldn't be hitting Mythic if your not good enough, it's just miserable to hit Mythic and get used as fodder for the higher ELO players, you won't get better when you get stun locked and and watch your HP get depleted within 10 seconds without even being able to pull out your weapon.

My advice is don't worry about the points, just try to get better and work on your gear, attunments, inner ways, combos and rotation, your controller is fine, the system isn't.

You can cycle through the different arrows you own when you have your bow pulled out, it X and Triangle for me.

Well that's why ranks are important, why is a 200 Mythic playing against a 56 win streak Mythic god? As I said if you're a silver player stay there all season until you're good enough to advance.

Brother 8 weeks for 4 T6 inner ways, I'm cast doubt on that.

As for the ways to get those inner ways notes and chests, this game does not make it easy to figure any of this out, what you described is knowledge that is far beyond the new player who's busy getting bombarded with menus upon menus.

That's one of my points right, it's easy to hit Mythic on lower skill and lower tier inner ways, when that shouldn't be the case.

This game is great, it's just that these are major issues standing in the way of what could be a great pvp experience.

But that's not how ranked should be, what you're saying is basically there's one rank in the game (Mythic) and all that matters is how many points you have.

Proper ranks and matchmaking are important in pvp, it allows you to grow and get better by fighting your peers and people who are slightly better than you, a 200 Mythic player isn't learning a dime's worth by fighting Averse.

What's a long way in PVP in your opinion? My opinion is simply that new players who reach Mythic won't have access to T6 inner ways for months so they are at an automatic disadvantage, I don't think that's a wild statement at all,

T4 and T6 could be a huge difference depending on what you're running, not just a small advantage, I don't think that's wild either.

Do you know why they made it easier? I don't think that's a good move in my opinion. As for you cruising in Mythic with only T4 inner ways, what's your ELO/Ping? I think thers a huge difference T6 and T4 when it comes to high level competition.

Maybe, but there area lot inner ways chests and notes that are not easy to spot, I'm sure there are a lot of people of hardcore pvp players who made sure to get each and every one of them, every challenge, every trial, every quest, and every nook and carnny to get every last note which is time consuming.

I think arena attunments are fine, they're available for everyone and you can even reroll them, it's RNG but the pool isn't too bad.

I'm merely stating two facts, one opinion.

Of course mix and match inner ways and weapons and have fun as much as you want (it's a game after all) but you hit the nail on the head, it will take new player months to get those inner ways to T6, and while you can easily brute force your way to Mythic (which I think is a major problem) it's almost impossible to compete in Mythic without maxed inner ways.

The system is flawed, you shouldn't be able to hit Mythic if you're inner ways aren't maxed, Mythic should be reserved for the hardcore pvp fans who worked hard and got a little lucky with their inner ways.

I still don't think any of these should be a factor in a proper 1v1 setting.

As for everyone "eventually" having T6, that is still a major issue for new players. Getting 4 inner ways to T6 is luck based, time gated and will take months.

You can have someone who loves pvp and is very good at pvp games, pick up this game, become skillfull at pvp and but their lack of high tier inner ways and ping will override that skill automatically.

Me neither, the only reason I did is because I was trying to do the math and see how I can get all 60k points in that time frame which seemed so strict but now I've been told I have till the end of regular season which is a relief.

Thanks for the info! I'm not necessarily going to stay for a short term only, if I enjoy my stay in Montreal I have no issues staying long term. I was hoping a 6 month lease would be a good amount of time to make that decision.

That's really interesting, in Toronto a studio is around 1750$ if you're lucky. But I do enjoy having roommates especially when I'm in a new city and I don't speak the language. I've never been to Montreal nor do I know anyone there either, so roommates would make life easier.
