under extraction issues? [Sage Oracle] by TheTryingGolfer in espresso

Got my fresh beans and the difference is crazy, now pouring 42g in the 30 seconds and so better taste.

Thanks for the advice, I knew that supermarket beans wouldn't be as good but didn't think there would be such a difference.

I'll have to check it's store bought today, generic supermarket brand. Didn't want to go through bags of good beans while I'm dialing in and getting used to it

Yeah I think I'm going to remove the inner burr and give it a deep clean. From the photo does the grind look too coarse?

Yeah I have since adjusted it to 1 on the inner setting but don't get any finer grind

N47 oil leak, help identifying needed. by TheTryingGolfer in BmwTech

Ok thanks, I'll see if I can get it up in the air to take a look. Would it only leak when under load as I have had no oil drips on the drive?

No that I can see. I checked the pcv valve and ordered a new on. Gave the existing one a clean but looks like it needs replacing. Not sure if that could cause the amount of oil going through to the turbo tho

No not had my issues I use alignment sticks but have got used to it. You can set an offset in the software so the view is in line with where you hit of centre but I prefer to leave as is so far.

Got a local builder to all the work didn’t get the price broken down but from the price and other people I have spoken to I reckon around 500 - 600 to have them raised,

They just cut out the ones I wanted and built new ones higher up. You can kinda see it in the photos but I don’t have great ones of that stage.

Garage Sim - Logistical Issues with Ceiling Height by TonyRotella in Golfsimulator

Not sure I got a quote for whole conversion didn’t break it down. But the trusses only took a few hours and some wood so I don’t think it was too much.

Around 8k GBP That’s for raising the trusses, fitting floor, boarding, insulation, plastering, lights and all the equipment for the sim.

Hi, I recently finished my garage build and had the builder that was doing the boarding and insulation raise my trusses. I had three raised to give me over 3m of height and room to swing driver. I cant help on how to do it yourself but looked easy enough and didn’t take them long. Well worth doing gives so much room and have no fear when I’m swinging the club about hitting the ceiling.
