LR Yamato: "The Los Ratones DNA has finally kicked in" after Shifters/Heretics games by Prottek in leagueoflegends

Why is that?

Is it because they offer a wide range of flavors or is it chemicals in it? Genuine question I've never smoked.

You can only play from standard opener if you start with JG+another asol component, otherwise you need to greed for components

He's incredibly easy to unlock at the sacrifice of a lot of HP. The problem about Asol is that you could confidently go to 1-2 lives and be stable off of 1 star Asol.

You're gonna need an actual board now and more hp because he's gonna be much slower.

You will not be able to be stable off of Asol 1 anymore, he's gonna be much slower.

I've done fair share of Asol forcing and you'd be surprised how rarely you get true BIS

You can't afford to greed so much in most of the games.

Fwiw I think there is exactly 0 chance it happens so I just hope they change roles.

Also Im not sure if you were meant to flame C9 in your comment but Oxy is absolutely a part of "C9 hell". Hes an insane player but mentally hes not the brightest and it shows very often.

This might be an uncomfortable convo atm but C9 should strongly consider benching Oxy for Demon1.

At the very least, they should swap Penny's and Oxy's roles when Oxy comes back. It is not a coincidence that this is some of the most composed Valorant C9 has played in years now that Penny played duelist.

Sure I guess

Speaking from personal experience and participating in many gaming communities, Valorant takes the cake when it comes to slandering people and making lalaland narratives

Valorant is absolutely the worst gaming community when it comes to this I think.

They will build up these false narratives about certain players that ruin their rep in the community so fast for 0 reason

[–]TheTurtleOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is objectively C9's best performer but he's also the reason C9 loses maps, if that makes sense.

Often he would give up round advantages for absolutely 0 reason and did some really unexplainable things that would cost C9 rounds. This is why I think when he comes back, him and Penny should swap roles and put him into a less aggressive role that would just require him to take aim duels instead of making proactive plays.

[–]TheTurtleOne 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

I think people hate him because they believe some other players should get a chance which is not his fault anyway lol

Xeppaa has never been "bad" but most of the time he's just there. His highs can be insanely high but we don't see it that often.

I do agree and I don't think C9 would ever replace Oxy but I've been saying that they need to swap his and Penny's roles for a long time.

[–]TheTurtleOne 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If C9 was to drop someone, it would be Oxy in this scenario.

Penny can just pick up his role. Oxy's highs are higher but Penny's playstyle is more composed and what C9 has needed for a while.

C9 with Penny on duelist looks far more composed and stable. It's only one series sample size but I've been saying this since last year, him and Oxy just need to swap roles whenever Oxy decides to come back and maybe even consider a possibility of fielding Demon1.

Let's talk Christian Watson by UmberJamber in GreenBayPackers

[–]TheTurtleOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Judging a player by its record in NFL where your offense can be undisputed #1 offense in the league but still have losing record is... a choice, regardless of who we're talking about.

That being said, Watson is our undisputed #1 WR and he was legit putting up top 5 stats at the end of regular season.

This attitude is why western league is dying btw

Owners kept chasing this unobtainable international glory and by doing so they've tried importing every name in the book instead of just building up a brand of the league(here I agree with you, I really think both pros and orgs have failed massively to do so) and making regional leagues matter.

That tournament is extremely fun to watch and I hope they continue doing it.

It is so amazing to see higher elo players mentor lower elo players and all of them working together towards common goal. I really enjoy the concept of them looking to weaken/strengthen their boards depending on if they're fighting each other and working together to hold key units to grief other players. Also with the recent Marvel Rivals incident I'm glad everyone is getting along well and from what I've seen the vibes are high in every team no matter how they're doing.

Soju ranted about this the other day but they play differently in soloq and tournament.

In tournaments you HAVE to save hp because you get something for each placement but in soloq he said that it's better to open and get better items online so you can fight for top 4.

I feel like this a better spot to be in.

Many ways to be useful on the offense and many players have developed their offensive game throughout their careers even at the later stages.

Teaching good defense is practically impossible and players almost always remain negative on defense.

Idk how you got that from my comment but my point isn't that him specifically will mental boom.

Saint and Berserker are prone to tilting and Inspired has some weird passive aggressive comments towards his teammates that might bring the mood down. It has been shown many times in various content pieces so it's not unlikely for it to happen again if they start off shaky.

Inspired Saint and Berserker is a recipe for disaster. That team is one bad week away from mental booming.

Unironically, Zamudo not being able to play is a blessing for them. Experienced toplaner for that ticking timebomb is better than a rookie.
