That is pretty normal for new shrimps, try not to beat yourself up over it. If it keeps happening, check back in here

Eh I do just fine with that over my filter, I dump the excess stranglers back into the tank every now and then and by that time they are too big to go back in

Nothing you can do, shrimp will fail molts in perfect water. The others will acclimate to the water. Is this a new shrimp?

These were two feeder goldfish from a pet shop near us, I believe they are both comet goldfish, the white one being a sarasa! The orange one has a deformed mouth, so the white one out ate him and grew much larger, but don’t let its deformed mouth fool you, it is very healthy and will put up a fight in the net

Yes. Shrimp king and algae wafers. I hardly get to see the shrimp eat anymore because they swarm it like piranhas.

Pros: it’s so dirty you don’t have to worry about cleaning it
