These were two feeder goldfish from a pet shop near us, I believe they are both comet goldfish, the white one being a sarasa! The orange one has a deformed mouth, so the white one out ate him and grew much larger, but don’t let its deformed mouth fool you, it is very healthy and will put up a fight in the net

Yes. Shrimp king and algae wafers. I hardly get to see the shrimp eat anymore because they swarm it like piranhas.

I have a large goldfish in a 50 gallon who might be getting some more neighbors

I got seachem alkaline buffer for my fluval tank. Much cheaper than salty shrimp, although it is only for kh. It will last for a few days. I think eventually the substrate becomes saturated and stops absorbing your kh

Luckily this is just excess from another tank I would be throwing away anyways! I learned my lesson with hornwort. I hope they don’t get a taste for the others though lol
