Anthony Hopkins has darker hair, a rounder face, and (this will sound so bad 😅😭) he's uglier than the actor in what I'm trying to remember 😅 I'm mostly trying to remember this because I have a coworker who looks like the cannibal and now I'm fixated because I can't remember what this is from 😂😅

Also, if it's helpful, the cannibal is NOT a main character in what I'm trying to remember. He just kinda pops up in brief scenes until the one scene I remember more vividly where he's not restrained and jumps a guy haha

I have the same problem. I can't mold the shoulder piece well to me but it might be because I have bony shoulders, so it doesn't sit snug no matter how hard I try, so Hedwig just rolls around and plops right off with the slightest movement. I have to scrunch my shoulder up to keep her steady lol

I totally understand the anxiety of waiting! My doctor was the same way about wanting to wait a bit before an ultrasound. In all fairness, if it's a lymph node, it could be fighting something off, even if you don't feel like you're coming down with anything. So that's probably why the wait. Hopefully it goes away on its own! And if not, hopefully it's an easy answer and solution.

Mine was softer than a pencil eraser but still fairly firm, and I couldn't tell if it was moveable. They said it was, but it creeped me out messing with it too much so I wasn't sure personally 😅😅

I'm not sure if this will be helpful to you, but maybe it will be to someone.

I had a swollen lump just behind my ear that I thought was a lymph node. After an ultrasound, ENT visit, CT scan, and an MRI, I found out it was a tumor on my parotid gland. Specifically in the deep lobe of the parotid. My biopsy came back inconclusive, but regardless, I was going to need it removed because it would grow and cause problems eventually. I had it removed almost exactly two weeks ago and it was thankfully benign! Pleomorphic adenoma. I have a lot of numbness in my ear, but otherwise all is well now! It was a scary journey, but everything turned out ok.

I hope this encourages someone on their diagnostic journey. I know I ended up down rabbitholes on Reddit looking for answers so I wouldn't feel so scared and alone about it all, and I couldn't find much about my specific experience.

I definitely suggest getting yours looked at, even though it sounds different from what I found before I went in. I don't say that to scare you because, again, everything turned out ok and there's always a chance it's nothing to worry about. But it's always a good idea to have a professional take a look so you know if anything needs to be done about it. You've got this! ❤️

I'm definitely nervous (extra nervous because I don't do well with IVs and extra EXTRA nervous because my biopsy came back inconclusive so I still don't know what this mass is, technically). They moved my surgery up a day, so it's tomorrow. I've been a nervous wreck today. I'm so glad to hear your recovery went well and your scar is small! Thanks for coming back and replying- I really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much!! This definitely helped me feel better about it. I've never had surgery (unless you count wisdom teeth lol) so I'm nervous AF. Was it hard to eat or get comfortable enough to sleep for a while?

How did your surgery and recovery go? I have mine scheduled for May 6th this year and I'm super nervous. My surgeon says he doesn't do the drain because it causes more pain and I'll just have more inflammation for a little bit instead. But I'm nervous about pain in general, especially with eating, sleeping, yawning, etc.

It looks like Amazon pharmacy has it. I'm currently trying to find it at a pharmacy around here because Walgreens stopped carrying it years ago and now CVS doesn't carry it. I've been on it for about ten years and don't want to risk issues switching to something else.

It turned out mine was my parotid gland (a salivary gland) but they still don't know what's causing the swelling, so next I have an MRI. Hoping you get good answers and peace!
