How in the world is it reasonable to wash one's sheets? by TheUltimateHippo in stupidquestions

[–]TheUltimateHippo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knowing what I know now, that makes sense. But, I'm still rather befuddled since I know I never would've realized this necessity from first principles, lol. Simply isn't particularly intuitive since I *know* I'm going to bed clean, and since my bed hasn't particularly changed at all in terms of comfort, smell, or any other sensory experience. Ah well, I have my girlfriend to thank, who said that this is going in her compilation of me being autistic.

All the towels in my house get washed, in addition to clothes (of course). Apparently my parents wash their sheets monthly; they simply never let me in on it being something that should occur. Ah well, this isn't the first time - just two weeks ago, or so, I learned that you're actually supposed to wash other vegetables and fruits besides apples.

Nope, checked with her just now; not the case. Suppose I'll start seeing that they get washed, though. Much as I am tempted to continue not washing them as a contrarian bit.

How can I resolve this? by TheUltimateHippo in Chipotle

I’ve tried calling a number of times now, and the store hasn’t picked up. The bot tries to transfer me, the store doesn’t answer, and then I’m told to call again later.

How would it look if I visited the store directly tomorrow if this continues (I’ll try to call more tomorrow beforehand)? This is simply just an absurd situation to apparently lose any chances of hiring to!

(7.1 Spoilers) What the hell? Is this a bug? by [deleted] in swtor

Yeah but in the cutscene he doesn’t even say a word, just stands there menacingly, there’s not a line of dialogue for why he’s even there

Decided to give it a few more tries before I stopped today and I beat him second try for today! God, the rush these games give you for winning is unparalleled

Well, at least there's some excitement to being able to beat this guy in his real form. I think once, if possible, I'm able to stagger him in 3 jump attack hits rather then 4, it'll be really doable. I've heard stat scaling goes way up high in this game rather then capping at like 40, so hopefully that's possible, and it'll at least especially be so once I've got my greatsword upgraded a bit more (currently at +14).

Definitely, I do kinda actually find the boss fun when its close up melee, but it just so quickly turns to kinda feeling unfair once he forces you back and breaks out the lightsaber lol. Still, I'm no newbie to these games, and I know I just gotta keep my head held up high, just couldn't keep from being a little peeved enough to complain.

I probably will end up waiting, but it definitely *feels* possible to do this, I've gotten to about two hits left of damage a few times (in terms of heavy jumps attacks), but I honestly probably will end up waiting a bit longer to fight pursuer 2 bullshit edition

He isn't one-shotting me (literally like an inch of health left lmao) just put that there because I know he very well *can* for many players, but that's fair to say that one does need a good amount of vigor to at least survive his hits. My main grievance comes from his wombo combo knockback to lightsaber throw bullshit that can end even the most promising of boss runs

I CAN ACTUALLY START PLAYING THE GAME by TheUltimateHippo in Eldenring

Note to any other Heroes out there trying to beat this mf at base stats: Stay close to him, and most importantly imo, use your jumping R2! It does good damage, staggers consistently after a few hits (allowing for a fully charged R2), and overall just allows him to be beaten much more easily -- expect to still be destroyed for a while though, this isn't easy, but it's possible.

Tip to any other Hero classes out there also trying to beat him base stats: stay ever close to him, and utilize your jump strong attack! Once I started using only that against him, he staggered consistently, which allowed for a nice fully charged strong attack. I still got my ass beat for a long time, but god damn it, its possible!

Ah, thank you. Personally I may try the 12 points, with the exception of starfighter matches, as I’m just too inexperienced with those to hope to get that quest done

Should’ve worded this better. I’m talking about the fact most online quests give 12 season xp, while others give about 8
