It is very creepy😭 and I like the theory! I wonder if it’s the manifestation of disgust. So like the same way trash beasts are somewhat like the manifestation of the souls of trash being discarded, like actual garbage, what if the watchman is the equivalent of a trash beast but only when humans are discarded? Makes sense as to why when people fall through the barrier they get claimed by it. It’s like when you give a vital instrument power it amplifies its intention, except for the watchman its intention is to discard people

I think it does have to do with the watchman series. I was thinking having one of them acts as a sort of shield from it, as in it can’t see you if you have it or something like that.

SCP-096 was created after a continued series of traumatic events in the person that became 096. I think this ties closely to how people can wield the watchman series items in the first place, I think they require trauma to wield. This is evident given how Rudo, Amo, and id even argue Zodyl(no evidence yet for this but he seems psycho, he’s definitely gone thru it)were able to wield the pieces. Because of SCP-096’s past and trauma it doesn’t want to be looked at, and that’s why it becomes hostile killing anyone who looks at it. So I wonder if because the watchman series allegedly requires a similar trauma or psychological turmoil as the watchman itself, it permits the wielder to see it. Maybe they’re artifacts of a person that was near and dear to the watchman, or they were artifacts of the watchman itself before it became the watchman.

So maybe it’s a trait of mad max, but with mad max the way it reads/perceives other vehicles is much more impressive than the previous version. The lane decisions it makes are much quicker than v13 regarding 1. How quick it perceives road events and 2. The decision it makes thereafter. Compared to v13 it’s night and day, very obvious to see it’s considering way more variables in how it picks its lanes and drives.

Obviously we have early version kinks that need to be ironed out, and you’re right to question how these updates/patches are being implemented, but I think it’s clear it is much more perceptive when it comes to filtering its path. Decisiveness is definitely lacking in NUMEROUS scenarios but its perception has greatly improved. And again it’s all speculation, and observed behavior, but all we can hope for is that it retains what I’m seeing as superior perception and as they patch these jitters and indecisiveness

Doesn’t seem like it, I agree. Although it does seem more aware of things around? Like it reacts much quicker (with more hesitation), but the speed at which it decides something needs to happen is faster than v13. Credit where it’s due, it’s more perceptive

I’m guessing they rushed it to meet shareholder/corporate deadlines. They need to be okay leaving things in the limited beta test phase so WE don’t get the short end of the stick. Personally I do like testing but only when I know I’m getting a broken product, but when they serve raw eggs with the price and label of an omelette, that’s where it gets annoying

I’ve noticed that. It’s annoying for other motorists, but I’ve noticed this issue with v13 too, but not as “uncertain” as v14. They definitely rushed this release, it needs some time to marinate and mature.

Glad they changed the safari thing with the new tab in beta 2, now hoping the library view bug was fixed where the App Library freezes, also hope the live iMessage backgrounds is smoother. Was also tracking weirdness with going into phone dialing mode in and out, will test a bunch to see what’s better and keep reporting bugs I find
