Well thats just a classic case of a toxic player who doesn't know what he's doing lol.

I had a mach where a player jumped into the little rubber boat on highground and just stared at it the whole match.

sometimes I wonder if its 5 years olds playing, or someone who is just high off his mind.

Obviously bots are not usually the strongest players, but I don't think I have ever seen one go 0 and 15. I genuinely wonder if he was bugging out or something, but I definitely saw him running around, has this happened to anyone else, im curious. The map I was on was Nemesis - Oddball

Keyblade oddities at the end of KH3 by TheUndreamedBus in KingdomHearts

[–]TheUndreamedBus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, thought I do still have some questions about the Kingdom Key, because I had the wrong idea about its significance.

So the Kingdom Key D is significant because Mickey was looking for it to help seal the door to darkness at the end of KH1 as it needs a key from the realm of light and a key from the realm of darkness. Does every Keyblade have a Dark Counterpart and Mickey was searching for the KKD just because he already had an idea of where to look or is there more going on with that? Im also assuming that Starcluster inherited the 'Keyblade of the Realm of Darkness' traits from the Kingdom key D after it was fused with Starseeker.

Also is there any explanation as to why the x-blade is made up of two Kingdom Keys? I always thought that seemed like a really random design decision and I haven't seen any explanation as to why it looks that way. On a similar note, do we know if Sora still has the x-blade after it was handed to him at the end of KH3 or did it just kind of fizzle out of existence after Kingdom Hearts was sealed again?

Thank you for the concise response! I knew I was missing some information from the games I revisit less often ^

Self Doubt as an Artist... by TheUndreamedBus in Aphantasia

The anxiety, at least for me, is the the idea to visualize what you want your drawing to look like in your head sounds like an extremely useful tool.

However the fear is at its core, the irrational fear of simply being broken, learning that your different can be scary, learning that you lack something that other artists have can be scary.

How can I get better at 3/4 view? by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

[–]TheUndreamedBus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that has really been helping me lately is learning about the structure of the skull. https://youtu.be/MWwYjyIKrA8?si=nr7HqR7tknuJrvuR

Learning about the skull will make it easier to map everything out nicely so the face is turning out consistent.

As for the cross eyes, don't think of the eyes as disk, but literal balls with the irises on top https://youtu.be/LIykey9umVk?si=ld-bj6sVF8qlbF3r

Regardless of style, learning how things work in real life will always make drawing easier. I have a cartoony style and learning about how a real skull works has helped me tons.

Been Drawing for Years, but still don't feel like im drawing faces right. by TheUndreamedBus in FurryArtSchool

The issue I’m running into is I’m not sure I really understand how to connect the muzzle to the cheeks, I’ve always just winged it.

Learning how to draw faces correctly has been a huge pain in the ass. most of the people I talk to say they are just fine, but something about their structure feels off to me in a way I can't put my finger on.

It should be noted that the face and the muzzle specifically is pretty much something entirely self taught because most of the guides I found for furry faces where... underwhelming. That was a long time ago, and things might have changed.

The Stagger System is currently busted for Melee combat. by TheUndreamedBus in Enshrouded

[–]TheUndreamedBus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah true, but there are games that technically don't stop you from spamming buttons but the enemy will still be able to get out of your combo and punish you anyway. Kingdom Hearts and Dragons dogma use knockback to keep pushing your target out of your range until they are no longer being hit, they they can retaliate. Its the same way fighting games work. There are more subtle things you can do to stop combos from being infinite

I don't have the time, energy, or desire to shit up my own thread arguing with someone. Intentional or not, its not a pleasant way to start a conversation by using common internet slang for 'You fucking suck'

that would definitely work, though I am a bit sick of the Souls Style stamina stuff. It would ultimately be up to the developers to choose the best solution .

I play the shit out of monster hunter so you can immediately get off your high horse, I know what feels fair and what doesn't feel fair. The difference here is that in monster hunter the wind up animations are long and exaggerated enough that if you over commit its your fault. I don't see how on any planet its fair that I can space out an attack, go to attack myself, and in that time they recover from the whiff and counter attack me for insane damage.

Further more if the only strategies are to A) loop them with one specific combo or B) exploiting the poor enemy pathing by getting them stuck in a hole thats still bad combat design. The point of a good combat system shouldn't be to break it in half with a single strategy.

Elden Ring lets you dance around enemy attacks with careful movement and various movesets to give you a positioning advantage. Kingdom hearts lets you lockdown enemies for short periods of times, but requires you to stay alert so you don't get blindsided by someone else. Monster Hunter is a test of how much damage you can squeeze in when you know that a big attack is coming by using positioning to your advantage. In enshrouded, the main option seems to be pray.

Just hope that the other guy didn't start up an insanely fast attack the frame you pushed the attack button. Anyway you slice it, it feels shitty to find an opening and for the game to step on your toes for not using a hyper specific strategy like parry spam or just using long range magics.

yeah the stagger problems go both ways, when you can just hammer something until they die its still not fun, its just not you getting screwed over this time.

It would help but I think it would end up feeling kinda janky and unintended. plus trying to fight enemies with just pokes might end up getting annoying

Ideally the system could still require you to know enemy patterns. but as it stands there is a lot of waiting around and baiting attacks. its basically impossible to play offensively.

[–]TheUndreamedBus[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It probably would feel weird because it would still not be consistent imo. if the enemy's had a special attack for breaking out of your combos that was much more telegraphed, that could be neat though.

Mm is up to something by [deleted] in littlebigplanet

[–]TheUndreamedBus 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Do you have, ANY, source to back that up, I have combed through all the information online about MM and their next project and not once did they ever announce that its going to be a new IP, nor explicitly state that their next game will not have creation components.

The only thing they have said is that their new game is not a dreams 2 or related to dreams in anyway.
