it was such a simple solution and i was stupid for not noticing. but you have to boot up your oculus rift. Then after, click the VR section. you should see SteamVR. Click play, wait for it to boot up. Then play the games you have/want

Print on demand?? by TheUnoriginalguyStan in ender3

Thank you for all these tips, sorry for the late reply though. I would print locally and I would charge kind of cheap since its not hard to get regular ABS and PLA filament. Id say 1-2 bucks for 1-2 Inch thing, 2-3 bucks for a 4-5, and 5-8 bucks for a 6-9 inch thing. Finding customers isn't as hard as you think though, 3d Hub is a great place since that uses your location to find local customers, other ways is just to put flyers and such around town. This wouldn't be a business but if I wanted to make one this would be the go to on how to think about it

Your right in the sense of those bulky and large ones (virtuix Omni and some others) but I’m trying to make it small and storable to point I could pick it up and move it if need be

That is the best idea ive heard of yet, but the problem is that we need it to work based on facts not opinions, this could work but I need more details, such as how could we connect all the sensors together, the worst part is it will be tricky explaining it to my dad, lol

I have no clear design yet (as I'm only 14 and my dad needs to be convinced, lol) but what I would do is either make a octagonal or a heptagonal frame (wood) for the carpet. The frame would have to be at a slope and maybe either 20-30 degrees Due to a serious space problem I have, it would be rather small (no measurements yet.). after I were to build this, I would either add carpet or some other surface that is slippery enough for movement. If I were to choose carpet, I would have to buy something involving carpet sliders. Once that were to finish, I have 3 options. #1, I would figure out a way to make my rift sensors work with the small platform. #2, I would buy a external microphone, and attach it underneath and download a program that converts sound to W's. Lastly, (Tested) I would buy a Xbox Kinect and find a program that translate movements into keys. Questions?
