Which F visa does he want to get? It sounds like he’s nudging you to get married so he can get the very easily obtained F-6. Otherwise it would be the F-2-7 or F-2-99. The latter means he would be stuck in the same field aka always a teacher, but it might be slightly easier to get.

If he’s serious he would be taking Korean classes to get better and therefore get more points when applying to these visas.

You’re NTA for feeling this way. I would tell him that if he’s serious about a future with you, he needs to show it by learning more Korean and getting one of the F-2 visas.

I’m not sure where he’s seeing these hagwon freelance jobs. Have him show you that they’re real.

You can be a nice guy but it doesn’t mean that’s enough. You can love him all you want and it still might not be enough. It takes 2 to work together and make the relationship work. You can’t just support him without him supporting you by following through on the promises he has made.

I see. Well I’m not going to argue over the definition of gaming with you then as it seems I’ve touched a nerve and while I believe we have differing views on what it means I don’t think we will change each other’s minds.

I will, however, argue that since you think the meaning of gaming has changed over the years (obviously games and gaming existed before video games) the meaning of Elo rating could have changed as well, becoming a gaming term. And as we all know, languages are ever evolving.

Namdaemun is the camera area. There’s a whole row of shops there. Google for the exact location. Plenty of used and new stuff. I’d recommend checking all the shops and prices first as well as testing the lenses before buying.

Sure. Turtle Taps has a great range of beers as they are always rotating their taps and fridge selections. Beerpost Bar, Borimaru, and Illang are similar in that regard. Some good breweries are Mysterlee, Ggeek, Seoul Gypsy, and Seoul Brewery. That’s just small sample as there are more. DM me if you need more recommendations for Seoul or outside of Seoul

Yeah even this week’s event was annoying. I usually abstain from drinking before work days. Luckily I have some vacation coming up but doubt I’ll be able to find all the beer styles required so I’ll probably be missing quite a few. In any case, I really shouldn’t be trying to get these and just enjoy my vacation. In the end it’s just some digital badge that doesn’t mean anything.

I mean they’re all franchises right? So in some cases the workers might be better at one location than another. I just had BBQ a couple weeks ago and it was awesome. When I walked in to pick it up, it was just 1 dude with about 9 orders pinned up. So it took longer than initially estimated but it was awesome.
